In shadows deep, our love did bloom,
But now it seems, we're trapped in gloom.
Fire and gasoline, we ignite,
Destroying all, in our toxic fight.
It's time to part, to let each other be,
For we're not good, you and me.
The pain we caused, I didn't mean,
But it's time to go, our hearts to wean.
My love, I'm sorry, for the hurt I've caused,
But staying together, our souls are lost.
Crying tears now, is better than to bleed,
Letting go, it's what we both need.
We had our moments, the good and true,
But now it's time, to bid adieu.
Hold onto the memories, the love we shared,
But move ahead, alone and repaired.
For life will be better, with us apart,
Learning to love, and heal each heart.
Seek partners who give, the attention we crave,
Deserving love, that's more than we gave.
We all deserve better, a love that's true,
But together, it's clear, that's not me and you.
So let's part ways, and set ourselves free,
To grow in love, both you and me.
