Oh, Death, stay away, I beg,
Let us live, forever free.
In this world, find joy and light,
Away from sorrow's endless pain.
You only bring pain and tears,
But I seek hope, free from fears.
Let laughter and love fill my days,
Where sadness fades in hopeful ways.
Go far from us, Death, I pray,
Let life guide our way.
In these lands, we'll dance and play,
With happiness that will always stay.
Oh, Death, spare us, please,
Let our spirits soar and explore.
In this life we share, let us find,
Moments of joy, moments so kind.
Never return, Death, I say,
Let us live, cherish each day.
In our hearts, hope will reside,
As we journey, side by side.
Death, please stay away.
We don't want you.
Stop coming for us.
Oh, Death, please, go away.
