This is my battle, a journey to mend,
For I am broken, my heart cannot pretend.
Hurt and tormented, by the lies you told,
Promises shattered, like dreams turned to cold.
Failed communication, a painful divide,
Efforts unanswered, my heart left to hide.
Ignored messages, left on read,
It cut me deep, like words left unsaid.
I accept the truth, that you don't care,
My heart aches, knowing you're not there.
No more forcing a love that's untrue,
I must heal myself, and bid you adieu.
No more cold-heartedness, no more pain,
I'll rebuild my strength, and love myself again.
Goodbye to the wreckage, you left behind,
I'll find my worth, and a love that's kind.
I'll mend my brokenness, piece by piece,
With self-love and healing, I'll find release.
This is my journey, to mend and renew,
Goodbye to you, for I deserve better, it's true.
