"FUCK ME," I quietly muttered to myself right after I opened my eyes, and instantly felt the throbbing pain in my head, courtesy of a nasty hangover.

I took a look around and saw that I was still lying in the exact same spot on the carpet where I conked out and slept last night. Natatandaan ko pa ang mga nangyari kagabi at ang babaeng 'yon ay wala talagang puso. Hinayaan talaga niya akong matulog dito magdamag? Binigyan lang niya ako ng isang kumot at unan, 'yon na 'yun?

Hindi naman niya responsibilidad na gawin 'yon but... she's definitely not a wife material, if you ask me!

"Seriously?" nagpipigil kong bigkas nang madatnang walang pagkain sa kusina.

Uulitin ko, hindi niya trabahong pagsilbihan ako pero nakakaletse na itong pag-uugali niya. Siya na itong nakikitira sa pamamahay ko pero wala man lang akong makitang efforts from her kahit sa paglilinis man lang.

Kumuha ako ng bottled water at saka bumalik kung saan ako natulog magdamag. I settled onto the floor, grappling with the remnants of a hangover, and allowing myself to drift back in time to the moments when my parents would cook my preferred meals, creating cherished memories around the dining table.

Puro na lang reklamo ang magagawa ako ngayon, siguro dala lang ito ng buhay prinsesang mayroon ako sa aming panahon. Hindi ako sanay na ako ang ginagawang alalay dahil mas nakasanayan ko ang pinagsisilbihan.

With a faint, shaky voice, I whispered through my tears, feeling their wetness on my cheeks once more. "I can't help but long for the good old days when we were all together, Mom and Dad. I really miss you guys."

Natulog ako, hinayaang lumipas ang oras. Every time I woke up, the pain persisted until I shut my eyes and found solace in the unconsciousness of sleep as a means to evade the agony of life.

"Until when are you going to keep going on like this?" ang mga salitang binitiwan ng babae nang buksan ko ang aking mga mata.

"W-wala kang pakialam," I hissed under my breath.

Hindi siya tumigil, patuloy pa rin ang marahang paggitgit ng kanyang paa sa braso ko.

"Ano ba?!" iritado kong bigkas saka lamang ito tumigil. "Pabayaan mo na ako, pwede ba?!"

"Do you even know how much time has gone by while you've been lying there? It's been 48 hours, and you haven't bothered to eat anything. Get up, take a shower like you always do, and find something to keep yourself busy, whether it's work or any other task," mahabang litanya niya.

Her words caught me off guard, and I blinked with a mixture of confusion and surprise. I hadn't even been aware of it, but it seems like I constantly crave more sleep, like I'm perpetually tired and have no desire to wake up anymore.

"Do you want to die? Alam mo, pwede naman kitang tulungan. Just share the passcode for that door, and I'll leave this damn house, granting you the freedom to sleep as long as you want, forever!" dagdag sermon niya.

Hearing those words instantly reminded me of my mom's scolding whenever I showed signs of laziness as a child. And then, there's dad na laging tagapagtanggol ko kahit ano'ng mangyari.

I found myself staring back at the woman scolding me, my eyes filled with defiance, and all of a sudden, tears started streaming down my face, a never-ending torrent.

"I probably look like a mess, don't I?" I said between my tears.

"Tinatanong pa ba 'yan? You've slept for two full days without drinking any water, ignoring your hygiene, and not eating, and I have to admit, you're not at all like the person I imagined you to be," pairap niyang saad. "Akala ko takas ka lang from bilibid, feeling mo rin yata ikaw si sleeping beauty."
