A/N: Chapter 13 will be taken off the table tomorrow, and we'll be hitting the pause button on updates for a while because I need to bawi, like write fresh chapters and review the remaining drafts. I've got like five drafts sitting here but I need to carve out some time to give them a thorough review kasi weak din ako sa numbers and dates. "I DIDN'T expect you to get me all these time-travel books. It's a bit much, don't you think?" sambit niya habang naghahakot sa mga gamit niyang nakatambak pa rin sa living room. Inuna pa kasi niya ang pagkutkot ng pader dahil sa kanyang kapraningan imbes na ayusin ang mga gamit niya.

"I'm not sure if books like that would capture your interest, but maybe you could give them a try."

I think it would be a gentle way to introduce her my world by starting with books about time travel, including Albert Einstein's story of his nearly successful time machine invention. "I'm not really into those kinds of books, but I might give them a try when I run out of other books to read," walang interest niyang sabi saka ibinalik sa isang box ang mga librong hindi niya tipo.

"Time-travel themed series and movies? What makes you enjoy this genre so much?" kunot-noong tanong niya. Iyong CDs at DVDs naman ngayon ang hawak niya. May koleksyon din ako ng flash drives na ibinigay sa kanya. I made sure to give her a comprehensive collection of the top-notch movies and series that nailed the time-travel narrative, so she could see for herself that it's absolutely possible.

"The reason I'm drawn to it is because I truly believe it's not just a made-up concept like many people think. It serves as evidence that there are no limits in this world, and things are way more intricate than we can imagine."

She's going to struggle with this, no doubt, but as a science enthusiast who enjoys backing things up, I'm confident she'll eventually be convinced.

"Time travel? Nah, let's not kid ourselves, time travel isn't a thing, and it's never gonna be."

"Well, I respectfully disagree, but advancements in science and technology have surprised us before. Who knows what the future holds?" Who knows what crazy discoveries await them as they keep figuring out more about physics and the universe?

It was hard not to smirk and shake my head at the ignorance of people in this era, who easily dismiss something so crucial without a second thought.

"I get that scientific knowledge expands, but let's be realistic here... time travel falls into the realm of fiction, no matter how much we learn."

"This universe is a complex and fascinating place, and there are numerous phenomena in this era that have yet to uncover," I hissed in irritation and quickly grabbed the box of condoms she threw at me. "Ano bang trip mo?!"
