The Los Deja Vu Empire came to life in 1883, a whopping 276 years ago, and it's still going strong in 2159. But the organization I'm involved with is all about making the world fair and sustainable for everyone.

"I think you have the wrong idea." Hindi ko pa rin binibitiwan ang kamay niya.

"I saw it! The tattoo on your back! It's you!" pagpupumiglas niya.

Hellion: hell, lion, crown and numerical clock. I completely agree with her statement that I hold the position of authority within the organization, but not at this time, and the person she's currently referring to is definitely not me. Tingin ko'y isa ito sa mga dahilan kung bakit sa panahong ito ako napadpad, may kailangan pa akong malaman tungkol sa kasaysayan ng Los Deja Vu. I need to know who's the leader of our organization in this timeline, maybe I can do something.

"I'm not sure where you're getting that from." To emphasize the point, I tightened my grip around her arm and pull her near as possible to me, our faces were so close together that I could feel her nostrils flaring on my skin. "Wala kang nakita, naiintindihan mo?"

I blinked, totally dumbfounded by her lack of fear. I mean, if I said this exact thing in Gotham Law right now, every single person would be crawling at my feet, and bowing before me.

Marahil ganito lang siya dahil nasa teritoryo niya ako.

"Are you daring to threaten me?"

This woman is quite the character, but at the moment is not the kind you want to see in a movie, she's something else.

Huminto ako sa isang tapat ng convenience store.

Siya ba ang cashier dito o owner ng store?

"How much?" napatanong ako bigla. Nakatayo lang kasi 'yung babae sa counter, hindi naman siya mukhang galit dahil mas mababakas ang takot sa mukha niya.

Nangunot ang noo ko kasi parang may mali na sa kanya. "Miss, okay ka lang ba?"

"H-help me..." pigil-luhang pakiusap niya. Namilog ang mga mata ko nang makita ang nakatali sa kanyang buong katawan.
