-unknown P.O.V.
All night I had been trying to reach them, using the coordinates that the guy in the garage had found out for me when I gave him Katzo’s old device.
But so far, no one had accepted my signals.
-The signals that I had been sending for the past five hours from my little hideout. But without any success. Not a single soul had acknowledged my fervent attempts to make contact. I was either being ignored or my signals didn’t even reach them to begin with.
So, I was left with no other choice but to send a short voice message over the connection, hoping that the guy had given me the right coordinates and that his services were worth the money.
2000 credits he got from me. True, he had asked for less, but because I was so relieved to finally be able to warn Skywalker and Y/N, I gladly gave him a little more. I had long regretted that decision. Really, who could you trust in this galaxy anymore?
And even if the guy had given me the right coordinates to contact them, still nobody accepted my signals. And in the unlikely event that my warning did reach them and they did listen to my voice message, it would be nowhere near as effective as if I spoke to them directly. They were probably so put off by the whole concept after Katzo's last voicemail, that they would interpret my message as yet another trap.
And the last thing I needed was for my warning to them not to be taken seriously. If they ignored it, everything would be lost. All those people and planets would be lost, all those voices would be silenced when the dark side seized power. But what else could I do? I already went above and beyond and took insane risks just to contact them.
As the hours ticked by, frustration and anxiety consumed me more and more. I paced back and forth in my hideout, desperately trying to come up with a plan B. I couldn't afford to let Skywalker and Y/N blindly walk into the trap that awaited them. The fate of perhaps the entire galaxy rested on their shoulders- that is on Skywalker’s shoulders as he was the chosen one of the two. But with my father and his cousin breathing down my neck there was nothing much I could do to prevent what was coming their way.
I had sent them a warning. If they had received it, it was now up to them to take it seriously or not. I guess I had to come to terms with that. I had done what I could, against all odds, and it was time to let fate decide over what would happen next. With that, I set my device aside and decided that I should get some sleep.

-Y/N’s P.O.V
Waking up to Anakin’s soft little snores in a comfy hotel bed 20 minutes ago, had been something I wouldn’t want to trade for anything in the galaxy. It had still been pretty early in the morning and the sky, stretching over the countless of other skyscrapers surrounding our hotel, had only just started to transition from its dark, black hue to a lighter shade of blue.
I had admired Anakin’s sleeping face for a while longer, until I decided that I should probably wake him up. It was best if we returned to the jedi temple before the sun had fully risen. Even though all the council members were still gone for the mission, we still should not test our luck and remain absent for much longer. After all, they could reach out to us at any time and Anakin and I hadn’t brought a comm-link or holopad with us when we went out for our date, so we definitely needed to go back, so that it wouldn’t look suspicious if we didn’t respond to incoming signals from the council.
I softly stroked Anakin’s cheek and whispered his name, hoping to gently wake him from his deep sleep. Eventually, his eyelids fluttered open, revealing his dreamy blue eyes, still heavy with sleep. A lazy smile tugged at the corners of his lips once he had focused on my face.
