Chapter 15 Identity

So, we now know that Marinette knows that William has a plan for Chloe's family. But, will she get suspicious about William up to the point of stalking? Only time will tell. Chapter 15

Identity

William was in his room, fiddling with his phone, when a knock at the door came.

"Come in" said William. The door opened to reveal one of the maids.

"Oh, hi Valerie", said William. "Is there a problem?".

"No, but your father wishes to speak to you" answered Valerie. William then walked toward his father's office. There, standing by the desk, was Adrian and next to him was a woman with red and blue hair and a matching dress suit.

"Okay, I recognise Adrian", said William. "But who's the woman?".

"This is Nathalie", answered Ronald. "She's Gabriel's assistant".

"Really, huh?", wondered William. "I thought she was his nanny". That comment made Nathalie blush.

"So, what brings the two of you here?" I asked. Nathalie then walked up to me with a tablet in hand. The screen turned on to reveal Gabriel Agreste.

"Hello there, William" said Gabriel.

"What do you want?" Asked William.

"I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a photoshoot with Adrian", answered Gabriel. "You seem to be quite popular".

"So, in translation", said William. "You need me to boost your popularity. Eh, sure. I could use an excuse to get out".

"Very well then", said Gabriel. "Nathalie will escort you to our shoot. And try not to insult someone".

"No promises, peppermint" retorted William. With that, the screen went dark.

"Follow me, William" said Nathalie. William then followed the two of them to Adrian's Limo, they got in and drove off. Adrian then tried to have conversation with William, but he had no interest and was fiddling on his phone. Eventually, they arrived at the shoot.

"so, uh, William", said Adrian. "You enjoying Paris so far?"

"It's not as boring as I thought it was gonna be" answered William.

"Boring?" Asked Adrian.

"I thought that this was going to be as boring as bat shit", answered William. "But, imagine my surprise when I find out that Paris has two teen heroes running around in skin tight outfits fighting a villain with a butterfly obsession". William could see that Adrian was blushing when he said 'skin tight outfits'.

"I take it YOU'RE one of those people who has fantasies about her?" Asked William. A wicked smirk on his face. This made Adrian turn deep red. Eventually, the shoot was ready. There were swarms of fans flocking near the shoot. Too the surprise of the staff, it wasn't because of Adrian. It seems that William's well toned body drew the crowd.

"Hey!", shouted William. "Take a picture, it lasts longer!". The fans then scattered.

"Hey, that wasn't very nice" said Adrian. William then glanced towards him.

"So?" Asked William.

"Don't you think that could be damaging to your father's reputation?" Asked Adrian. William just took out his phone.

"He knows what I'm like", answered William. "Besides, people rarely pay attention to the kids unless they're front and centre. My dad doesn't want me in the media unless it's absolutely necessary".
