Andy & I sat there for a good hour or so, catching up & talking about life. He told me all about the gigs he's played & the interviews he's been given. How his band is evolving & growing a bigger fan base slowly. He's especially excited about a show he's going to be playing in Cincinnati this coming April & it's going to be big. I told him, well, not much. Obviously I briefly spoke about the depression spiral I went through over the winter & how I haven't been to school, but I'll be returning soon. Even though it started as a serious conversation, we managed to crack in a few jokes here & there, making each other laugh & carrying on a bit. It was like good times again, finally. A lot has happened with him but he hasn't changed a bit in the slightest. And then the topic focused on Liam.

"So, Liam...", he started, a wave of tension filled the atmosphere. I gulped.

"Uh, yeah...we're kind of...together.", I say through a forced chuckle, trying to stop things from getting awkward. Andy just nods.

"But, he respects you though, right? He doesn't do anything that makes you uncomfortable or anything?", he says real quick, almost noticing he's sounding a little over-protective but trying to brush it off. I smile softly & nod.

"Yeah. Uh, yeah. He's great. Obviously it's still new & I don't know him completely yet, but so far he's been great...", I say, although, I'm unsure. I just have this sinking feeling in my stomach that somethings going on. I honestly hadn't thought about Liam until just now & how I haven't heard from him.

"Good. Well, ya'know...if he ever pulls something, you got me. I'll kick some ass for you again.", he jokes playfully, earning a giggle from me as I smack him lightly in the arm.

"Oh I believe it. But also, thank you for the night of the party. I know you were just trying to help & I was being a total ass about it.", I apologize, getting serious for that brief moment. He smiles & shrugs.

"I'm just glad I happened to be there & stopped anything bad from happening.", he says, nudging me with his shoulder.

"Yeah, me too.", I smile. We sat there & watched the sun go down & the sky turn a beautiful pink color. It was gorgeous. It was silent for a while but the good kind of silent. We just enjoyed having each other & being around one another.

"Hey, I gotta go, but you should come to my little get together this Saturday. Just gonna be me, my band, & few friends. Damien & Jade are gonna be there too. But of course Liam's welcome to come, if he doesn't hate me.", he says, standing up. I smile.

"Yeah, that sounds like a lot of fun. I'll see if he wants to go.", I say.

"Great. Well, I'm glad we're okay now Sky. I promise I won't fuck up again.", he says. I stand up so I'm level with him, but of course he's almost a whole foot taller than me.

"Me too, honestly. I've missed you.", I say.

"I've missed you so much.", he says. He goes to pull me into a goodbye hug which I thought would be just a little one, but he ends up putting his arms around me & giving me a little squeeze; which I was not expecting.

"I'll see you around school, kid.", he says into my shoulder while hugging me. "Also, unblock my number. Yeah, I noticed that.", he adds, laughing playfully. I hug him just as tightly back, chuckling.

"Sorry about that. I will when I get home."

And with that, we parted ways.

It was nice having him back, hopefully for good. I guess this day turned out to be not so bad after all.
