Huddling together, the eight of them stuck close for awhile, seeking warmth that was rare at the moment.

With no electricity came no power, no power meant no heat. It was the middle of winter, the harsh breeze hitting their skin.

Recently, Jeno and Haechan went on a perimeter check with Hendery and Johnny, making sure the air raid was really over.

Renjun had been messing with the powerbox, trying to fix their electricity.

Zoey scoffed, glaring up at Chenle. "You're cheating, aren't you!", "I'm not! I'm just too good at this.", he flipped his non-existent hair, Zoey clicking her tongue in annoyance.

She placed the cards in her hand on the floor, sighing in defeat. "Markie, wanna play? This Dolphin is going to be the death of me.", she said, clearly irritated with Chenle's miraculous winning streak.

Mark let out a laugh, scooting closer to them. "Sure, why not.".

Jaemin watched the three of them in amusement as Jisung was farther away from them, training with Taeyong.

Taeyong smirked, his arms wrapping around Jisung's neck, putting him in a headlock, a tight one. Jisung tapped his arm, gasping for air. "I surrender!", he yelled out, Taeyong's grip loosening.

Jisung bent over, placing his hands on his knees, desperate for oxygen. "You've gotten better, but you're still blind in some spots.".

"You're nothing without your axe, Jisung. Just a kid with a little muscle. You need to change that.", Taeyong said, his words punching Jisung in the gut.

"You think I don't know that?!", Jisung spat out, his sharp tone intriguing the older one. "Is something bothering you?", he asked, Jisung's expression hardening.

"Yeah! I train myself every day until my body goes numb. But despite everything I've done to grow stronger or appear more mature, you only ever see me as a child! All of you!", Jisung voiced his concerns, making Taeyong sigh.

"That's because you are a child.".

Jisung gritted his teeth, glaring up at their leader. "No I'm not!".

Taeyong scoffed a laugh, shaking his head. "You are legally still a child, Jisung. I'm not saying you act like one. Actually, you are more mature then most of us here. There's nothing wrong with being a child.".

"Enjoy it, Jisung. Enjoy being a child while it still lasts. If you grow up too fast, you'll regret it later, trust me.".

Jisung sighed, still not understanding his words. "I hate it, hyung. I hate being a child... it restricts me, makes me seem weak.", Taeyong let out a sigh, walking towards the younger one, giving him a light pat on the back.

"Then prove them wrong. Show them who you really are, Park Jisung. You are not weak, you're stronger than anyone I've ever known. Don't bring yourself down, you're stronger than you look. Remember when I picked you to participate in Punch?", he said.

Jisung slowly nodded, not understanding where this was going.

"You have a gift, it's all about how you control it. That monstrous energy you have inside, it can help you to do great things some day. You just have to learn how to use it.", Taeyong said, his words dawning on Jisung.

"A gift?", Jisung mumbled to himself, his eyes gazing down at his hands, his eyebrows furrowing at the thought.

"Taeyong hyung, the coast is clear!", Hendery said, earning a firm nod in return.

The four boys had returned from their perimeter check.

Haechan happily skipped over to Zoey, sitting behind her before snaking his arms around her waist, nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck.

His actions catching her off guard, she snapped her head to the side, seeing the smug look on his face. "Flower~ I'm back!", he smiled widely at her, placing a small kiss on her cheek.

She scrunched her nose, looking over at him in disgust as he pouted, trying to look as cute as possible. "Eww, go away.", her words shattered his heart into a million pieces.

His eyes held pain in them as he moved away from her, sulking away in the corner of the room.

Chenle and Mark bursted out into laughter, their high-pitched tones complimenting each other. "That was too good!", Mark said, his laugh bouncing off the walls.

Zoey sighed, scooting over to Haechan's saddened figure. She placed her chin on his shoulder, softening her gaze as she stared at his side profiles.

"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to hurt your feelings...", she said, her words causing the boy to turn his head, their faces only inches apart.

Jaemin noticed this, his smile immediately turning into a frown.

"Really?", he pouted, his gaze lowering to glance down at her lips, a feeling of temptation arising. Zoey smiled at him, his gaze returning to her beautifully lit eyes, a sparkle bringing her orbs to life.

"Yes, Teddy, I'm sorry.", Haechan smiled, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. "Of course you are~ what would you do without your comfort bear?".

Zoey laughed at him complimenting himself. Jaemin scooted over to the two, placing his hands in the middle of them. He pushed the two away from each other, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Mine.".

Haechan rolled his eyes as heat engulfed her cheeks, a light tint of red taking over. Normally she wouldn't react this way, but knowing that Jaemin had feelings for her had changed how she viewed their everyday interactions.

"Donghyuck! We're starting phase three, the power is back on.", Taeyong said, Haechan's playful expression shifting into a serious one. He got up, walking towards Taeyong and Renjun.

"Donghyuck?", Zoey turned to Jaemin, a confused look on her face. Jaemin sighed. "Haechan's real name.".

Zoey slowly nodded, her head slightly tilting at the new piece of information.

"Why does he go by Haechan?", she questioned, Jaemin hesitating on whether or not he should tell her. Nevertheless, he gave in.

"It's the name his mother gave him. He changed it because he didn't want to be reminded of her. She didn't want him when he was born, so she left him.".

"He's an orphan.".
