new beginnings {dahyun x fem reader}

we woke up to the sound of my alarm, still in the same position as last night. her resting her arm across my waist, me holding her, and her head laying on my chest. i woke up instantly feeling my cheeks heating up. i decided to get up and let her rest a little bit longer, i tried to not wake her, and mission success! i freshened up, took a shower, and grabbed all my equipment that i'd need. i went to wake dahyun up and told her to get ready. after she got up i heard her turning the shower on, so i went downstairs to the lobby to get her some breakfast, and some for myself of course. i didn't see any of the other girls either, so i made my way back up to the room. i got back just in time because when i got back she just turned the shower off. she loves her long showers. 

she finishes getting ready, then i noticed she was wearing one of my shirts that i didn't even realize she took. it was one of my blue crop tops, and she was wearing white sweatpants with it. she looked like she was just about to get ready to film a dance practice video, honestly i wasn't complaining, she looked amazing.

"goodmorning, dahyun. i went and grabbed you some breakfast while you were getting ready. also it seems you took shopping in my closet a little too serious?" i said teasing her, and she blushed, i'm not sure if it was out of embarrassment or not.

"ahh y/n, i can't help it. they're all cute clothes, and they smell so good."

"we can go shopping together, and i can buy you my perfume if that makes you feel better.. if you don't get anything for yourself, i'll get something... that'll eventually end up with you girls." i said while laughing

"fine fine, and regardless y/n, it'll end up with all of us. you still have the other 7 to take care of like you did for mina and i!" our morning before filming was filled with laughter, jokes, and just a casual conversation. when it came to talking with the girls, it's just been something that's so easy. like i was meant to know these girls. as we were talking, i checked the time and noticed we had a little bit more time to kill since the girls just got finished getting ready. they still had some breakfast to eat. dahyun texted them to tell her when to start coming down since we had already had breakfast. just then i felt my phone go off

how are things with our dubu? ;)

if you're trying to tease me, two can play that game. misses son.

okay okay, you got me. i was actually texting you to ask about her.

i confessed my feelings, and she feels the same way!!

that's so good mina!!! i'm happy for you, what's next for michaeng? ;)

i want to ask her out on a date, but i'm not sure how!

we can plan while we're here, and you can ask when we all get back home!

"hey dahyun, the rest of the girls are ready. are you ready to go down now?"

"yeah, i am. let's go!" i went to turn around and reach for the door, but dahyun tugged me back, gave me a hug, then kissed me on the cheek, and obviously i turned red.

"thank you, y/n. for treating me so nicely. you mean so much to me."

"anything for you" i smiled at her, and we made our way to the girls. after we all got in the car, we made our way to the place we're filming at. it was one big chocolate factory. the teams were sorted into three colors, yellow, blue, and red. nayeon, jihyo, and tzuyu were team yellow, on team red it was dahyun, momo, and jeongyeon, lastly team blue, which was mina, chaeyoung, and sana. i smirked at mina knowing she was teamed up with chaeyoung. she rolled her eyes at me and we laughed. they all got dressed in their outfits, and it might've been the cutest thing ever. seeing them having fun is always my favorite. they had different challenges they had to go through, one was touching a mystery item and guessing what it is, another was to eat a mystery piece of chocolate without making a face, and if you did you lost. watching all the girls have so much fun was really the light of my day. towards the end, they all had to hide their chocolate bars. at that point it was a free for all to determine who will be the "factory master." unfortunately for team red, they didn't get all 8 pieces of the golden ticket, so they were eliminated. they still had a blast though.

*a/n: i know that jeongyeon wasn't in the episode, but in this story she is :)*

once they wrapped up filming, i got all my equipment together and made my way to the car. the girls were getting dressed and made their way to the car together. after a long exhausting day, we finally made it back to the hotel and it had turned out they had dinner ready for us. they brought us all some ramen, and honestly it was much needed. we all ate dinner together and just had a great time over all. after we finished, we went back to our assigned rooms. since we spent some time talking, dahyun did fall asleep again, so i carried her back to our room. once i laid her down i figured i'd get some work done. i went to the balcony and started editing some pictures and clips from today's adventure. luckily tomorrow was a free day again so i didn't have a certain time to wake up. i didn't even realize how long i had been working for, then i heard a small, tired voice approach me.

"y/n, what're you doing out here so late?"

"dubu why are you awake? go back to sleep?"

"i was, but then i couldn't fall asleep because you weren't with me. i got scared you left, but then i saw you out here." she looked concerned, again.

"it's okay, i'm right here dahyun. i didn't leave you, come take a look at what i'm doing." i motioned for her to come towards me, and she sat on my lap, which i didn't mind. i was just trying not to blush. i showed her how much of the editing i've gotten done between the video and the pictures. safe to say, she was impressed. after a little bit of looking, i don't know where i got the confidence from, but i just, leaned in.
