i woke up to the sound of my alarm, then made breakfast and lunch for the girls. i packed my parent's their breakfast, and lunch too. i quickly plated everyone's breakfast, and packed their lunches.

good morning girls! i had to wake up and go pick up my parents. i made you breakfast and lunch. your lunch is all packed up! everything is all the same so it doesn't matter who grabs what. have a great day, i'll see you soon! ~ y/n <3

i finished writing my note and i head out the door with my parents food. once i got to my dorm, i noticed they were still asleep. i bet they are so jet lagged. i wouldn't put it past them if they were. i shook them awake to let them know it was time to get up. they got ready, as i sat and watched some tv. i felt my phone go off a few times, so i checked my messages.

i laughed at all their texts and replied one by one. basically just saying you're welcome to jihyo and momo, and that i'm mentally preparing myself right now for momo's attack.

when my parents finished getting ready, they quickly ate the breakfast that i made for them and then we were on our way. i had to take them to jyp's office first since he wanted to meet them. we made our way up, and i knocked on the door.

"good morning sir, i hope you're doing well this morning, i'm here with my parents, i remember you saying you wanted to meet them!" i said excitedly

"good morning y/n! i told you to drop the formalities, but please come in. mr. and mrs. y/l/n, it's so lovely to finally meet you!"

"it's nice to meet you too, and it's also nice to see where our daughter spends most of her time at" we all chuckled at that statement

"she's an amazing photographer and videographer. i'm lucky to have had her apply. she's truly one of the best." they all shook their heads in agreement

"ah, you're too kind, but i'm the one who's lucky to have been given this opportunity!" i said

"well, y/n, as you know you are going on tour with the girls, and if your parents would like to, i'd like to give them vip tickets to whatever show, or shows, they'd like to attend! that way they can see the girls and you while on tour. i heard from one of them that the girls love your parents" he said winking and smiling at me.

"that is true, i'm starting to think that they're her daughters and i'm not" we all laughed

"that'd be wonderful though, sir. we'd love to see y/n doing what she does best, and watching the girls too. it's honestly like we have one big family here" my dad said

"please, just call me jyp! i'd be more than happy to have you join along, and it'd be wonderful if you guys visited more often! the energy you bring here is so nice, i feel so at peace right now" honestly, i agree. like i said before, maybe it was because i just needed to move away from them, but since i did, things have been great. maybe i just needed to prove that i'm ready to be an adult, and it seems it's worked. things have been so great. we chatted just a little bit more, then i excused us because the girls were getting ready to start practicing. i also may or may not have been missing someone a little extra.

i gave my parents a quick tour of the building, mainly just where i'm usually at, and we made our way to the practice room. i barely walked into the room, and i completely forgot that i was about to be attacked by momo. the second i stepped foot inside, there was just one woman running towards me, arms wide open, and here i thought dahyun was the eagle.

"y/n i love you so freaking much thank you so much for cooking you are wonderful and amazing and we love you" momo said rambling, and out of breath. after that, i earned thank you's from all the girls. i looked over at mina and chaeyoung and they were getting cozy and snuggly with each other. then tzuyu and sana can't stop staring at each other with love in their eyes. they all said good morning to my parents and dahyun ran over to give us all a hug. she really is the sweetest human ever. i felt my phone go off, and i went to check just to see if there was any details regarding anything with the tour or upcoming photoshoots.

this isn't over.

it was just aly, trying to get to me again. i showed my parents, and they scoffed and rolled their eyes.

"you know, i never really liked her. she just seemed too, stuck up." my dad said

"i couldn't tell, you always look like you hate everyone i talk to, friends or more"

"okay that's not true" both my mom and i looked to my dad with telling eyes

"okay fine, maybe it is, but that's not the point. i still never liked her"

"neither did i, as much as she tried to be nice to us, we could see how badly she was hurting you. i'm also sorry we let her get in between our relationship"

"that's okay mom, it's in the past, we're here now and that's what matter. nothing she says or attempts to do will change anything. if you've both taught me one thing, it's how to stand on my own. you're both the best, and i love you so much" we shared a hug, and then they told me to get to work. i grabbed my laptop and started editing pictures, since they were just learning routines i didn't have to get up and film, i was able to just set a camera up and let them do their thing. i sat behind the camera that way i wouldn't be anywhere in the frame.

while they practice, i show my parents what i do for work, i show them the videos i've edited, the pictures, and even some of the photoshoots that weren't out yet. they were both amazed by the work i do, and i could feel myself getting all giddy inside, like a 5 year old who's about to have 3 scoops of ice cream. life was finally turning around for the better. she can't change that, and she never will.

i notice dahyun and nayeon step outside for a minute while they were on break, at first i thought nothing of it, but then they were gone for a little bit. i got worried, but not too worried since they weren't alone. i was going to excuse myself to go to the bathroom, but really it was just to check on them. as soon as i was about to leave, the door opened. in comes nayeon and dahyun with flowers and a gift bag. as they get closer, the rest of the girls do too.

"y/n, everything you do for us is over the moon. you continue to support us day by day, whether it be with the work we do, music we make, or just us as people. you're truly one of a kind." jihyo speaks first

"everyday we all wake up lucky to have you in our lives" mina chimes in

"and everyday we all wish for the same thing" jeongyeon says

"that we get to have you for the rest of our lives." chaeyoung says

"without you, we wouldn't be as happy as we are" both sana and tzuyu say

"without you, my stomach wouldn't be happy" momo said, which led to all of us laughing so hard

"dahyun and i went to grab this, but it's a gift from all of us. just to show our appreciation for you" said nayeon

"we love you so much, y/n, thank you for loving us, supporting us, and being so kind to us. we hope that one day we can take care of you the same way you take care of us, but for now here's a little gift!" dahyun handed me the flowers and gift. i gave her a kiss on the cheek, completely forgetting about everyone around us. when i opened the gift, my eyes were met with multiple picture frames. it was a picture of me with each girl individually, then one with all of us together.

"we noticed your dorm was feeling a little empty, well besides your room, but we decided to do this so whenever you're having a bad day and we aren't physically around, our presence is always with you" i started crying and they all came in for a group hug, even my parents were touched by this and i could see them crying

"i love you all so much, thank you"
