𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞. | 𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐤𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐳

♱⋰part 8⋱✮

"Y/N, wake up we gotta head to the airport," my mom yelled. I instantly sit up and rub my eyes. I hated waking up early. I could feel my eyes getting heavy again, so I fully stood up from my bed and get ready for the airport.

I grab my clothes that I chose from yesterday and change out my pajamas. I then head to the bathroom to fix my hair and brush my teeth. Luckily, brushing my teeth really helped me with staying awake so I didn't feel very tired. I put my hair in a claw clip and put my hood on before walking into my room to bring down my suitcase.

I roll my suitcase as I get downstairs and take it to the car. I meet my mom in the car and begin to load in all the suitcases. Mom was carrying Lilly because she was still sleeping. She puts Lilly in her car seat and closes the car door. I finish putting all the luggage in the trunk and shut the backdoor close. I then open the front door to sit in the passenger's seat. I sit down and sigh out of relief.

"Are you ready, mom?" I ask.

"I just need to lock the door. I'll be right back," my mom takes the keys out from the car and runs over to the front door to lock it. She runs back into the car and drives out from the driveway and into the streets.

- time skip -

We get to the airport and check in. I hated this part because it is always so stressful. We make our way to the TSA and load our belongings on a tray. I finished getting checked and waited for my sister and mom to be finished. They finally finish and we start walking to our gate. We get to our gate and immediately sit down. After waiting for what seemed like forever, we began to board the plane. I find my seat and put my carry-on in the cupboard above my seat. Lilly and mom put their stuff in there too and sit down. I settle in and wait until the plane begins to take off. I was still tired from waking up so early, and it was an 11 hour flight, so I took a nap.

I woke up to one of the flight attendants announcing that we would be landing in 5 minutes. I start gathering all my carry-ons and packing them up. As a kid, my favorite part about flying was landing. I would always feel like I was on a roller coaster. I smile as the plane begins to land. The plane lands and we wait in our seats for a few minutes before getting out. Once we do, we go to the luggage pickup and to a car rental.

After we did all of that, we drove to the hotel we were staying at. I hop out of the car and we walk to the front desk to check in. We are greeted by one of the workers and help us check in.

"Hi. We booked a room at 11:50," my mom says.

"Uhh, yes. Let's see for Ms. Y/L/N?" she smiles. My mom nods and the worker gives us our room keys.

She thanks her and we leave to go find our hotel room. We walk into the elevator where mom clicked on our floor level. The elevator dings and we exit the elevator, walking through all the hallways to get to our room. I finally find our room and call Lilly and mom over. She grabs the hotel key and unlocks the room. We all walk in, admiring the nice room that we would be staying at. We settle in, unpacking all of our stuff, and relaxing.

"Hey, mom we don't have anything planned to do later today, do we?" I ask. I was really looking forward to going to the pool.

"Not that I know of. Why?" she questions.

"Oh I just wanted to go swimming at the pool," I shrug.

"Go ahead! I'll be here with Lilly," my mom smiles.

I nod and change into my swimsuit that I packed. I grab a towel from the hotel closet to bring down with me.

I find the entrance to the pool and set my stuff on an empty lounge chair. There were only a few people there, so it wasn't too crowded. I jump in the pool, dunking my entire body under the water. i swim back to the surface and wipe my face with my hands before opening my eyes. I hear the entrance door to the pool open a few times but I didn't think too much of it until I heard a familiar voice. Curious, I turn around to see who it was.

"Y/N?"
