"What the hell is this all about, Melissa? Who told you, you could file a divorce against me!?"

I gasped when Frank's hand caught my neck and my body panic, causing an impact behind me. Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at mabilis na inalis ito sa leeg ko. Tumakbo ako at kinuha ang baseball bat na laruan ni Madison. Itinutok ko ito sa kanya.

"Are you crazy!? How dare you touch me!"

Bahagya siyang natawa at humakbang ulit na palapit sa akin.

"Don't you dare touch me, Frank! Ba't ka nakapasok dito!? Get out before I call the police!"

"Huh, and you think you can scare me with that? What is it that is making you strong like this, Melissa? Is it because you are seeing someone now? Don't you think I wouldn't know that you fuck someone behind me!" Napakawala siya nang isang suntok at umilag ako. Tumama ito sa dingding.

"Stop it, Frank! You are drunk. This is not you!" I shouted and moved away. Parang nagpaikot-ikot kami sa mesa.

"You fucking bitch! Isa lang ang hiningi ko sa 'yo. Just be a good wife to me, and I will give you everything you want. And now you want to divorce me because you found a fucking rich man?" He snorted and spat some of his saliva.

"You are not going anywhere, Melissa. You will die in my arms, and we will stay at each other side no matter what."

Nagdilim ang paningin niya at mabilis niya akong nahawakan sa braso. Nagpumiglas ako at pilit na binatukan siya, pero masyado siyang malakas.

"F-Frank ano ba! Let go!"

I was crushing. My body is destroyed in the way how he holds me. It was a tight and forceful hold when he tried to kiss me. I moved and kicked him in any direction, but he was quick, and my body landed on the sofa. He jumped on top of me. Ripped my clothes, pinned my arms and forcibly kissed me.

"I hate you, Frank! Get off me!"

I cursed silently, and no matter how much I tried to move, I could no longer do it. He is too strong, and how he pinned my body felt like a sharp weapon was crushing me.

"Mama! Mama!"

"Madison!"

"Oh fuck!"

Nagmura si Frank at namilog ang mga mata ko. Nakahawak pa ang kamay niya sa akin, at mabilis niya akong binitawan. Sabay kaming tumayo dahil gusto kong protektahan si Madison sa kanya.

I ran to grab Madison, but Frank caught me and pushed me hard. My body landed on the floor, and my head hit the side of the table.

Napahawak ako sa leeg na bahagi ko at narinig ko ang sigaw ni Madison.

"My God, Frank! No, no, please, please, not Madison, please!" Pagmamakaawa ko sa kanya. He is holding Madison, and the little boy is crying.

"So, I found your weakness, huh?" Sakal niya sa leeg ng bata.

"M-Ma...Ma..."

"Madison! Bitawan mo ang anak ko!"

Wala sa sariling lumapit ako para itulak siya, pero isang malakas na suntok ang tumama sa tiyan ko at isang padyak nang sipa ang ginawa niya sa akin.

Madison screamed. He ended up grabbing Frank's face as he was near to him. Frank swore and almost ripped the boy. Sumigaw ako dahil sinasakal na niya si Madison ngayon. At kahit na masakit ang tiyan ko ay nakuha ko pang tumayo.

"You were just like your father! You disgusting little piece of - "

"No! Bitawan mo ang bata!" Hawak ko sa kamay ni Frank. Pinigilan ko ito dahil ayaw kong mataman nang kamay niya ang mukha ni Madison. He let go of Madison and he is now holding my neck, pinned my body against the wall, choking me.

"You think you could easily get away from me, Melissa!? I will kill you first!"

Madison screamed, crying, and I nearly lost my sight. I could no longer breathe.

"What the hell!? You piece of trash!"

Isang malakas na tunog ang narinig ko at nabitawan ako ni Frank. My body landed on the floor and Madison came hugging me.

"Mama! Mama," he cried.

I looked at the person who saved us, and she was a woman. She kicked Frank, not the usual kick, but a bloody superb flying kick that made Frank unconscious.

"Sorry, I was a little late." She winked with a peaceful sign in hand.

"I'm Carmella, by the way. Uhm, Mr Reeve Mondragon sent me. That idiot, really." She said, rolled her eyes, and handcuffed Frank. She dialed something and then checked Frank's pockets.

"This will be useful. Enough to rot you in hell."

Niyakap ko lang si Madison habang umiiyak ito at nakangiti si Carmella sa akin. This is confusing for me when I saw the white crystal pack inside Frank's pocket.

Mabilis na hinubad ni Carmella ang gloves niya at inilagay sa bulsa. Sunod ko nalang narinig ay may kumatok sa bukas na pinto at ang mga pulis ito.

"Carmella," tugon ng isang pulis sa kanya.

A few more police came, and I was stunned by everything. Carmella walked past me straight to the cupboard. She grabbed something, and it looked like a little camera.

"Here, Dave. A few evidence." Bigay niya nito, at napaawang lang ang labi ko.

"Okay."

"Make sure that this bastard will rot in jail for a few days," Carmella ordered.

Tulala pa rin ako habang pinagmamasdan ang tahimik na pagtulog ni Madison. Nasa ospital na kami ngayon, at sa isang pribadong kwarto ito.

Madison ended up having a trauma and doesn't want to talk anymore. He only wants to hug me. May iilang sugat ako, pero hindi ko na maramdaman dahil sa lahat nang pangyayari. Si Madison ang inaalala ko.

The police took Frank to the station; I believe he's in jail now. Carmella told me it might be hard for Frank to get out that quickly because of what he did. But he will eventually get out with a big bail. 

I already gave them my statement and filed a case against Frank. My lawyer, provided by Carmella earlier, will process everything, making it more difficult for Frank to get out of jail.

Pero kilala ko ang pamilya ni Frank. Hindi rin sila basta-basta. Sagana rin sila sa pera. 

"I'm glad that you are okay. Mabuti nalang at walang buto na nabali sa 'yo, or else babalian talaga ako ng buto ng kapatid ko."

Carmella handed me a warm drink, a chocolate one, to be exact. I accepted it.

"Salamat, Carmella." I took a sip, thinking of what had happened earlier.

"You are not safe to go back to your place, Melissa. I will drop you and Madison tomorrow to your new place. And don't worry. I will be temporarily guarding you."

She is now sitting beside me, and we are looking at the light around the city. Nilingon kong saglit si Madison at tulog na tulog siya.

My lips curved as I was trying to hold back my emotion. I couldn't no longer open my mouth, and the only answer I could give her was a nod.
