"What shit are you up to, Reeve? Dammit! Can't you see that she's married and has a kid? What the fucking hell is wrong with you?" Linus, my brother, gritted his teeth, and his eyes were like daggers towards me. My hand fisted out of frustration, and I looked away.

"Why hide these from me? You promise to leave her all for once! Hindi pa ba sapat ang lahat ng ebidensya sa harapan mo!? He is not your son and she's Melissa's son to Frank! What the fuck are you going to do with that huh?"

I put my head down as I don't want to damn fucking hear him. I know the result, and it's confirmed. Madison is Melissa's blood. Ayaw ko sanang malaman ito ni Linus, pero wala nga namang sekreto ng buhay ko na hindi niya alam.

I just got back, and I felt empty because I miss Melissa. I came here to see his kids and not him. I turned away, wanting to head back to my quarters, but dammit, he followed me.

"Reeve, listen. There are a lot of women out there who don't have complicated lives like Melissa's. Look at Jade, bro. Just choose her. She's a very dedicated woman, and she loves you. Doesn't that count?"

I chuckled and shook my head. I nearly forget about Jade. Dammit.

"It's not that simple, love," Saraid uttered out of the blue. May bitbit siyang tray na ang laman ay ang espesyal na dunots na gawa niya.

"Let's eat, okay? Here. Try this, Reeve. I made this for you. Freshly made." She winked as she put the plate on the table. "Leona helped me. She won't be long and will be here soon. She missed you."

I smiled a little bit as I looked at my brother's wife. She's a very dedicated woman to my brother and one of a kind. I admire her like Leona, but when it comes to cooking, she can't do well. But the hell, how do I tell her that it's awful without hurting her feelings. I don't want her to kill me.

Hindi ako gutom at ayaw kong tikman ang gawa niya dahil alam kong sasakit lang ang tiyan ko, pero wala na akong nagawa nang inilagay niya ito sa kamay ko.

I swallowed hard and looked at my brother. His eyebrows moved. He wants me to taste it and compliment his wife and say that it's fucking tasty even if it's not.

Oh, dammit.

"Thank you, Saraid. I'll eat it later." I put it back on the tray, but she was quick.

"Oh no! Eat it now! Or else I won't help you!" She crossed her arms, and that scared the hell out of me.

Nagtitigan kaming pareho ng kapatid ko at napamura siyang tahimik.

"Oh, dammit. The power of having a freaking awesome wife who holds all the power in the world. Damn, effing awesome. Cheers!" He grabbed one donut that Saraid had made and ate it fast.

"Yum, that's delicious, love. Did you change your recipe?" Linus asked. He winked at me, urging me to eat it too. I pressed my lips together, controlling myself not to laugh at his facial expression.

"Yes, nagpaturo na ako kay Manang Ising. And I did good this time. Am I right?" Titig niya sa kapatid ko at sa akin.

My jaw tightened. Oh hell, I have no effing choice.

"Let me taste," I said and tasted it, "It's not bad. You did improve, Saraid. Well done!" I smiled and ate the lot. Akala ko sasakit na naman ang tiyan ko. Mabuti nalang at tama na ang pagkagawa niya ngayon sa mga putaheng gusto niyang lutuin. Pero hindi parin masarap ito.

"It's not bad, love," tigas na tugon ni Linus at bahagya siyang napailing, pero nakangiti.

"Like I've said, Reeve, move on!" He uttered once again while he was loaded with food.
