Reeve's POV

Is it possible to come back to life after death? The odds are slim, only one percent. However, Diego and Cariena were fortunate to fall into that small percentage.

"What a load of bullshit, Reeve! What do you want to do here? Nakakatamad maglakbay nang pabalik-balik dito. Inaaway na ako ni Cariena. May babae raw ako? Shit and biscuits!" He spat the bubble gum he was chewing, and I continued doing what I was doing.

"Go back to your family, Diego. Just leave me alone. I'm happy here."

"Happy? Do you call this happiness? Shit and—more shits!" He looked around and shook his head. Both of his hands are resting on his hips.

After I saw Diego that day, I couldn't believe it. Ang akala ko ay hindi niya ako nakilala, iyon pala ay nagmamasid lang siya. Hindi agad ako nagpakilala sa kanya na ako si Reeve. Umuwi siya, pero bumalik lang din pagkaraan ng tatlong araw.

He lingered at the repair shop, feigning issues with his motorcycle and making numerous excuses. Ultimately, he realized that I was the person he believed in, and that's how he found me.

At ngayon na alam na niya na buhay ako, ay masaya siya. Masaya rin ako, dahil nabunutan ng tinik ang puso ko. Nabuhay ulit ako. Pero pansamantala lang ito, dahil pare-pareho lang kami ng sitwasyon.

It's great to hear that Diego excels in his job and that Cariena is contented as a full-time mother. I empathize with their current situation and appreciate that it's an improvement from the past. 

Diego often brings up the topic of the Mondragon boys, specifically my brother Linus and my mother, but I refuse to entertain the conversation. I have no interest in hearing any updates about them.

"She will no longer return, Reeve. Impossible na ito."

Napaigting ang panga ko at gumuhit lang ulit ang kakaibang sakit sa puso.

I'm longing for Melissa, and it hurts the hell out of me knowing that she has moved on. Ako nalang yata ang naiwan rito at naghihintay sa kanya.

I admit it, I am blind, and I wait for her no matter what.

"Reeve, listen to me. Come with me. Let's live a good life with my son and Cariena in my house. I promise I will look after you. You will have a new life."

Humakbang ako na bitbit ang dalawang gulong at nakasunod siya sa likod ko.

What's the point of everything without Melissa? Wala na 'di ba? I will keep my promise and remain here so she can easily locate me again.

Kung saan niya ako iniwan, ay doon din niya ako babalikan. Melissa left me here, and this is the place where I should stay.

"Reeve, there's more about your identity, Reeve. I have a bad feeling that you are not adopted."

Nahinto ako at napatiim-bagang. Hindi ko siya nilingon at nagpatuloy ulit ako sa trabaho. Ikinabit ko na ang gulong sa sasakyan niya.

After knowing everything, I told Diego about my life and real parents. Ang una hindi siya naniwala, pero dahil baliw ang taong ito ay nag-research ang gago.

He could no longer do things now like how he used to. Morris and Diezel don't know that he is alive, so he disturbs Drake Del Fiore for a background check. At dito niya napag-alaman na lihitimo akong kinupkop ng mga Mondragon.

"Stop bringing it up, Digs. Nothing will change. Leave the Mondragon boys alone. They are all happy and in peace." 

"Peace?" He smirked. "There's no peace at all at the west side of the world. I heard from Drake that Morris's businesses are now being frozen. That poor piglet."
