"Where are you going?"
Sahaj asked, closing the door of his car.

When he parked, Samidha immediately stepped out and walked in other direction of the cafe.

"To buy Revat a gift. Come with me!"
She yelled turning around. She was far and it was a rush there.

Sahaj stared at her blankly. Why couldn't she buy a gift before? Samidha assumed it was no, so she yelled a 'fine' and started walking again.

"Tch!"

He can't go without her! He has so confidently said he would bring her that he can't turn back on his words even a little.

He jogged towards her, stopping when they were side by side.

Samidha looked up at him and grinned entering into a bakery.

"That's like my boy."

"Shut the fuck up before I punch you."
He threatened and stopped behind her.
She was standing in front of the chocolate fridge. No it was not a fridge made out of chocolate but a transparent fridge with purple border, provided by Cadbury to keep their chocolates.

And it was the biggest Samidha has ever seen. Even taller than Sahaj. Maybe six feet tall.

"What chocolate does Revat Bhaiya like?"
She asked turning around a little to look up at Sahaj. He was standing behind her, way too close and eyeing the dark chocolates as if he wanted to eat them all in one bite like an animal, chew them out and don't even burp.

You are right, he was glaring at the chocolates.

"God Sahaj, what have those poor chocolates done to you?"
She asked jokingly and heard him whisper under his breath with an almost inaudible voice.

"Stay out of my reach."
Samidha's smile fell at how serious his voice sounded and she turned around to find him serious. Not angry, just serious.

"Uh....you were telling me which chocolate Revat Bhaiya liked. Amul dark chocolate, Dairy milk silk, Oreo, fruit and nuts or-"

"Just buy the biggest one. Anyone you like, just not the bitter ones. He has a sweet tooth."
He grumbled angrily, his voice heavy and deep. There was lump in his throat. He couldn't talk. He couldn't get angry. The water in his red eyes, didn't stop.

He didn't want her to see that. He didn't want anyone to see that. So he walked away. To the pub. Hoping he will look normal when he reaches there.

Samidha took out a big dairy milk silk Oreo and paid the amount and quickly ran after Sahaj.

She knew why he was waiting for her and insisting on going to the party with her. Shubham had texted her and told her everything.

So now, she didn't want his efforts going in vain.

"Uhhh! You tall people have such long legs. Anyways, what gift did you buy?"
She asked huffing and Sahaj stopped with his eyes wide. His wide eyes were staring at the man, probably in his late thirties who was getting out of a Rolls Royce parked in front of the exact pub in which they were going.

"What happened, why did you stop?"
She asked, turning his gaze from the man, back to Sahaj.
Her voice seemed to bring him out of him trance and he held her wrist.

"No I haven't. Let's go buy one."
He said, turning around, speed walking to his car, and almost throwing Samidha in the car.

"What? Where are we go-"

"Shut the fuck up Samidha. Shut the fuck up!" He roared, switching on the engine and driving like a reckless man.

Samidha sunk back in her seat. Why did he bring her when he didn't want to tell her? Was he crazy or something?
