"I love ice cream."
"I hate it."
Sahaj replied, looking at her hopping figure. Why the hell was she so excited about a damn ice cream?"Why? You have sensitive teeth?"
She asked and he shrugged, looking forward."I just don't like it."
"You don't like it because you have not eaten a nice one."
She said happily still jumping, people were giving them a good long look just because of her stupid jumping. Can't she walk properly?"Oh really? Then which flavour is the best?"
Sahaj mumbled, not really interested in talking, but still talking for some reason."Well, that depends. If you have a sweet tooth, I'd suggest butterscotch cone. A vanilla is also tasty. If you like chocolate you ca-"
"What do you like, huh? Your favourite one?"
He asked, cutting her off and she stopped jumping. That was..........a nice question."I don't.....know? Cones are nice. But I like Kulfis the most. They are the best. No ice cream can beat a Desi Matka kulfi."
She said and he raised his eyebrows. Kulfis, huh? Quite a nice choice.
"So you would prefer kulfi over ice cream?"
"Look, I don't like these ready made Kulfis which even companies sell. I like the Kulfis which vendors sell, which they make themselves at their home. There was this one guy in my hometown, he had the best Kulfis ever."
She said quietly, getting nostalgic thinking about it. They even sold a small one for just ₹3. Now there is not one of even ₹5.Sahaj looked at her amused. His lips tugged up in a small teasing smile.
"Just one?"
"Oh come on Sahaj! There were many, but his were the best. That's a different case that I only bought from him and never tried anyone else's, but still!"
She exasperated and threw her hands in the air to make her point."My bad! My bad! But what are we eating now?"
"An ice cream only. Choclate will be just fiiiinnnnnneeeee."
She whined out, now in a dull mood, unaware of his unusually bright mood. She wanted to eat that kulfi now.Sahaj noticed her change in mood. How she stopped jumping and was walking properly now, like a nice mature girl, but with her head down and lips in a frown.
Drama.
"What happened?"
He asked but she didn't answer, continuing to walk ahead ignoring him.
Sahaj furrowed his brows. No one ignores him."Samidha."
He said loudly, trying to gain her attention, failing yet again.Samidha was lost in her thoughts. When those mindless thoughts converted into the thoughts of questioning the purpose of existence, she was unaware.
"Samidha!"
He yelled this time.NO ONE IGNORES HIM.
But she ignored him. Again.
Enough was not enough. Taking his hands out of his jeans pocket, he held her hand, causing her to get startled.
"Ou-"
"Listen here you little bitch-"
Sahaj pulled her towards him, causing her to collide with him. He looked down at her and smirked."-don't you ever dare ignore me. I will kill you."
He threatened and Samidha stood there, getting comfortable in his hold, in the middle of the busy street.
With her furrowed brows, and lips in a frown, she snarled.
