Sahaj was soon unconscious in her embrace. Gently unlatching him from her, she heaved a loud sigh.

It was raining heavily outside. She didn't even notice. She never missed rain. Even the lightest pitter patter was enough to grab her attention. And today, she didn't hear the loud enough rain because all her attention was on him.

Sighing again she went back to where Sahaj was and sat down beside him resting his head on the desk. Picking her phone she called Shubham.

"Hello?"

"Is everything alright Samidha?"
He asked form the other side and she hummed.

"Yeah. How long is it gonna take for you to come?"

"Just five minutes. I'm almost there."

"Ooh....okay. Come fast."
She cut the call and turned towards Sahaj only to find him already looking at her with his red eyes.

She shrieked, scared and kept a hand on her chest.

"Y-you scared me!"

He smiled and tried to sit up straight.
Samidha helped him and he turned towards her.

"I.....I want to talk....."
He slurred and Samidha raised her eyebrows.

"Talk?"

" I hate you, you know. I re-really really hate you."
He started and Samidha chuckled harshly. So he really did hate her. A drunk person never lies.
But if he really does hate her, then why is he vulnerable like this only in front of her? Why he doesn't mind telling her his life story. Wh-

"But you are always there for me. You tried to save me that day in the fight. You took care of me when I was sick. And look, y-you are taking care of me now."
He whispered, sliding towards her. His eyes flickering from her eye to eye.

"I hate your guts. No one talks to me like you do."

"No one talks to you as rudely as I do?"
She asked and he shook his head in no.

"No one talks to me as nicely as you do. People hate me. You don't."

"I do hate you Sahaj."
She said, trying to push him.

He shook his head like a little child.

"No you don't. You wouldn't talk to me otherwise."
He said confidently. Samidha opened her mouth to say something but he cut her off.

"I've always been treated specially. Sometimes because of my father's wealth, sometimes because of my fear and earlier it used to be due to my weight. But you don't mind any of that. You treat me like a normal person. You weren't scared of me, neither did you care about my wealth. Hell, you don't judge me even when you should. Not when I first got into a fight, not when I was almost on you in that cafe and not even on Revat's birthday. An-"

"Enough of my praise Sahaj. None of what you said is true. I do judge you. I do hate you. I just don't show it. Now keep your head down and get some rest."
She ordered and stood up, ready to leave with a burning face. Sahaj held her wrist preventing her from going away.

Samidha's breath hitched as she looked back. His gaze was nothing like how it was a moment ago.

His eyes held innocence earlier, but they held intensity now. Something like a desire or a passion. He didn't look like a kid now instead now there was nothing childish.

Getting yanked, Samidha fell down beside him, her back touching his chest. Her chest heaved up and down when his hand went around her, holding her.

She felt voiceless, unable to form any sentence or even push him away.
