There was no sign of Samidha for about a week. Sahaj couldn't believe that he got so used to her doing his work in just two weeks that he was reminded of her absence every minute he was working.
Now he had to do all his work, which he somehow wasn't able to do properly, which he used to do all by himself just about a month ago.
"Did you see Samidha?"
Sahaj asked Rishabh and he shook his head.
Rishabh was now a permanent employee, he was doing his work on time and now his sister was completely healthy and on recovery state. Even though Sahaj hated how Samidha behaved that day, he was glad she did what she did."God where the hell is she?"
He mumbled to himself and left, twirling his phone in his hands, wondering if he should call her.But who was he to ask her anything? She wasn't even an official employee and if she wanted, she would've told him already.
Lost in his thoughts and the tremendous amount of work, he didn't even know when he reached his home.
Opening the door to his room, he almost shrieked.
Samidha was lying on his bed, sleeping soundly, with her hair all over the place.
He called out her name from afar, then from close and he even shook her, only for her to ignore him, even in her sleep.
Shaking his head he went to the bathroom and changed into his night clothes. He came back to find her sleeping even more comfortably now."Wake up Samidha."
He spoke loudly, turning her around so that she was lying on her back.
She stirred in her sleep and held his hand which was still on her shoulder."5 more minutes dad. Just five."
She slurred, curling in a ball around his arm and sleeping again.Sahaj took a deep breath in.
There was a girl sleeping in his bed. The girl who he was terrified of. The girl who has killed god knows how many men and still somehow remains as soft hearted as a 5 year old girl.
The girl who was holding his hand so tightly that it was impossible to free it without waking her up. And he had neither the heart, nor the courage to wake her up.
Sitting beside her he leaned back on the head board. The moment she loosens her grip, he'll leave and sleep in the guest room.

Samidha felt herself returning to consciousness due the extreme pain in her back. She turned around and it felt extremely better. God, she loved that fluffy bed. The past week was so hectic that she wasn't able to get more than three hours of sleep in a day.
Opening her eyes slowly, she tried to sit up, only to be pushed back down by a weight on her stomach.
Looking at her side, she saw a male lying on his chest with his face in the opposite direction and half of his body hers.
But he was fully clothed. And so was she. What was a male doing in her bed?!
She tried to sit up, using more power, only for him to pull her back effortlessly.
Stirring he turned around and pushed his hand under her waist and pulled her in his chest.
She hissed in pain and for a moment she lost her ability to breathe or think or understand.
What was Sahaj doing in her bed?!
Whatever he was doing, doesn't matter. All that mattered was he was cuddling her and sleeping like a baby.
She tried freeing herself but nothing worked. Neither was she able to put power due to her injuries, nor was he weak.
Hesitantly she lifted up her hand and touched his chest. He didn't react. Feeling courage surge through her veins she slowly put her arm around his torso and pushed herself more and more into him.
