"Just leave it Samidha."

Sahaj requested, highly irritated by her shaking her foot uncontrollably.

She looked up from the ground and apologised for her behaviour and again stared glaring at the ground with her feet stable. But it didn't take her long to start again.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I should just..... I'll be out."
She said and stood up to leave.

They were in a juice shop. After Sahaj punched Aryan, they both left the place. Sahaj was quite relaxed and unbothered until he felt Samidha speeding up while walking. When he tried to ask her what happened, she took his hand in hers and continued walking. Crushing his hand.
She was not telling him what happened.

He held her wrist and pulled her back on the chair.

"What happened?"

"Nothing. I'm just being stupid. You don't worry. I'll figure it out. I'll-"

"Is it about Aryan?"
He asked when she started rambling. She stopped and looked at him, not saying anything. He looked away.

He couldn't look into her eyes.
She wanted to know. She wanted to ask.

"I won't do the formality Sahaj. I don't care how much it will hurt you to remember it. I want to know what he did."

She said seriously, and he looked away.

"A boy who's a state level champion in boxing, who has gotten into many fights, who has left many people seconds away from death, he suddenly tries to be peaceful just in front of one person? A boy who used to get angry on the smallest things ever, was quiet when some random boy was talking shit about him. That's a bit odd, don't you think?"
She asked narrowing her eyes.

She could see her words having an effect. She could see the wheels in his brain turning. And he came up with the classic Sahaj reply.

"Who do you think you are to demand answers from me?!"

"Real unique Sahaj."
She shook her head, almost fed up with him.

"Do not mock me, Samidha."

"I cannot but that guy can?!"
She asked, standing up and towering over his sitting figure.

When she got nothing but a glare she sighed and walked to his side and sat beside him. All while he stared at her.

Looking at the bustling traffic she drank her water.

"I can't see anyone humiliate you. That too in public. And when you in turn don't do anything, it makes me so mad that I want to burn everything down."
She whispered and looked away, burning in anger.

"I can't help but wonder what could've had happened to scare you so much. So much that you didn't say anything. My imagination scares me. It's scares the life out of me."
She rambled, looking away into nothing and zoning out.

"I just wish that you are overreacting and nothing that bad happened."
She whispered again and looked down.
She felt as if the world was crushing her. She felt so heavy in her heart that it was difficult to breathe. She felt so much that it was difficult to comprehend.

She never felt so many emotions all at once. Never.
Samidha Sharma had her emotions in control, yet here she was, feeling depressed and what not just because of a small incident.

"I'll drop you home."
He spoke after a moment and she nodded, standing up and following him to the car.

She was no one to feel for him. All she was a classmate and she crossed her lines when she demanded answers.
