"Just walk me till the square. I'll go from there by myself."

Samidha said after they have left the building and were walking towards his car.

She didn't look up at him even when she knew he was looking at him while she spoke. She won't talk to him.

She continued walking forward, with her face held high and steps fast, totally ignoring the person beside her who was walking nonchalantly. Trying to concentrate on the road ahead, she missed him stopping in front of his car.

"Samidha!"
Sahaj yelled when he noticed she didn't stop with him but continued walking ahead.

She stopped. Did someone call her? Was it Sahaj? From when did he start sounding so good? Maybe it was because of her name. Her name makes every voice beautiful.

She turned around and raised her eyebrows at him. Giving him a 'what?' look.

"I will drop you."

"I don't need your favour. I can go myself."
She snarled, not ready to talk to him properly after he has been rude to her.

Sahaj's upper lip curled in anger. How dare she talk to him like that. But he took a deep breath, controlling himself.

"I said I will drop you home."

Samidha walked towards him and put her hands on her waist.

"Why?! So that you can rub your stupid favour on my face every time? Don't try to act like a good boy, you were not even willing to talk to me properly before!"

Sahaj tsked. Why the hell was this girl so hard to co-operate with?

"I can co-operate with others Mr. Kashyap. You can't!"
She accused and Sahaj gritted his teeth. If she doesn't shut up he might do what he shouldn't.

Samidha gave him a once over, with a disgusted expression and again walked off, leaving Sahaj standing there burning in anger.

"I will kill her! How dare she look at me like that! Who is she even huh? Who is she? Is she better than me in anything? Any fucking thing?! Fuck no!"

He yelled to himself punching a wall on the sideway not caring about his knuckles.

"Well, people love her more than you. And isn't that what is important?"

His head voice answered and he almost screamed out of frustration.

"So what?! So what if people love her?! She is still a nobody! And people are fake!"

"People miss her when she is absent. When she will get in an accident, no one will say bad about her behind her back that she deserved it. But if it were to be you, people are gonna be happy instead!"

"Stop it! I don't care! I don't fucking care what a bunch of idiots think about me! They are no one. They will be no one. They don't matter!"
He yelled back at his mind, who was suddenly trying to go in the opposite direction.

It was all because of her! Had she stayed away and not talked to him like that, everything would have gone smoothly. His concious would have never talked like that to him! Never like that! Never like Samidha would.

Before Sahaj could punch the wall again, a voice called out.

"Sahaj?"

Sahaj turned around with the speed of flash and looked at her with his anger filled red eyes.

He could see nothing but her and hear nothing but his heartbeat.

How dare she?
How dare she come in front of him again with that stupid face and annoying voice of hers. She will not hurt his ego again.
