After letting two-three tears fall, Samidha somehow managed to get out of Sahaj's grip and get him to sleep.
Shubham didn't let her book a cab, he insisted on dropping her by giving her death glares and snatching the phone away from her. But before leaving, she left a note for Sahaj, telling him to meet his grandmother as soon as possible. She mentioned all possibilities of what could happen if he didn't meet her and she stated them in the most brutal manner ever, making them seem extra horrifying.
Samidha felt like Sahaj's soul came into Shubham's body because she could swear he was acting like him only. Angry and aggressive.
The ride home was quiet and awkward.
"Think about what I said Samidha. And I'm sorry for lashing out on you."
He grumbled when Samidha unlocked her seatbelt.Shaking her head with a soft smile she brushed it off.
"Don't worry about it. I just........I was.......take care."
She spoke and immediately got out of the car, not bidding him goodbye. She didn't want to meet any of them ever again. Nor him nor Sahaj. They felt like threats to her thoughts and ideas. And she knew, that no matter how tough she was, she would give into Sahaj's trauma and let herself be his dumping yard, where he would just dump all his emotions. She didn't want to be that.
She wanted nothing to do with emotions.
________________________________________________________________
Three days passed with no sign of Sahaj. His last seen was three days ago, he didn't message her, he didn't call her, neither did he come to class, which was almost what she had wanted.
But she also wanted to make sure if he was fine.
But she also didn't want to reply or even see any message that Shubham or Sahaj sent the day after.
So after a week, when Sahaj entered the class, she felt her shoulders slump down and her body relax to another level.
He didn't have dark circles, he didn't have red eyes. He even looked approachable. But that didn't mean she would go and talk to him.
"Hmmm. So you've been so lost because of him."
Priya mumbled quietly, as realisation dawned upon her."What do you mean? I am not lost."
Samidha asked turning around, not wanting to look at Sahaj, totally aware he was standing just in front of her bench.Priya gulped looking at him and he shrugged her off.
Samidha didn't avert her gaze, totally ignoring the big boy who was now sitting beside her.
Sahaj also turned back, towards Priya and started staring at her.
Priya, getting self conscious shrunk in her seat.
"Why are you staring Sahaj?"
She whispered and Sahaj shrugged."Trying to see what in your face is keeping her from even looking at me now. I don't find anything special."
"You just have to be rude from the moment you open your mouth right? It's your mouth or a shit hole?"
Samidha snapped, not appreciating his rude, taunting remark."Says the one who has been ignoring my messages for four fucking days."
"So? I was busy. I didn't see them."
She argued. She wanted to ignore him so badly that she uninstalled the whole app when his first message came."Are you fucking kidding me Samidha? No one's that busy that they never check out their phone!"
Sahaj roared and Samidha stood up, getting overwhelmed.
