"Wow. These are amazing Radha."
Samidha appreciated Radha with a smile that didn't reach her eyes.

They were sitting on the dining table, eating and Radha was showing Samidha the pictures she clicked on her camera.

Her eyes were still a little puffy, which she lied about and said were due to her sleeping so much.

But he knew she had been crying. Even the thought of her crying upsets his stomach. And he had been having mild stomach aches for the whole day.

He watched as she tried to hide how uninterested she was into looking at human body parts in the name of passionate photography.

Radha animatedly scrolled the pictures through her expensive camera and Samidha continued appreciating them, even though they didn't particularly interest her.

"Wait. That's beautiful."
She breathed taking the camera into her hand and looking at the picture with clear awe in her eyes.

"You like sunsets?"
Radha asked and she giggled.

"Who doesn't, silly? But I love the Sun."

"You don't like rain?"
Sahaj asked and Samidha shook her head.

"I love rain."

"But you like Sun right? Rain means dark clouds and no Sun."

"No. You like Sun doesn't mean you start hating rain. You can go without Sun for a day or two. I've spent months."
She said, looking back down at the picture and Radha shook her head.

"That's impossible. You will die without Sun."

"Stupid doctor. I'm not saying that. What I mean to say is that I've been so busy in my work that I didn't have the time to be under direct morning or evening Sun. And have you looked at those big buildings and narrow roads? Only at the noon can you even know there's a Sun."

"God, you sound like you haven't seen the sunrise in years."
Radha scoffed and Samidha laughed, handing her the camera back.

"That's actually true. I haven't seen a proper sunrise, in, like an year?"

Sahaj leaned back in his seat and watched her pick up her plate and wash it in the sink.

Does she even have anything interesting to do rather than killing or torturing people to death? She doesn't talk to her family, even Shardul hasn't been talking to her for the past few days, and there wasn't even a lot of work for her in his office except for scheduling his day and reviewing some files and presentations that even he finds boring.
All she did was sleep, stay on her phone, cry and do the boring office work.

"Would like to go somewhere to watch the sunrise?"
He asked and her smile slowly faded away.

"No thanks."

"I mean, we all can go somewhere i-"

"Thanks for the offer. That's very sweet of you. But no."

"But w-"

"You still need security Sahaj and don't forget that you go on vacations with family or friends. And I'm neither."

Samidha woke up two hours after she had slept, at midnight by the continuous knocks on her door.

Picking up the metal bottle from her bedside table she asked,

"Who is it?"
She asked harshly and came the soothing and soft voice of Sahaj.

"It's me Samidha. Sahaj."
She opened the door and he let himself in, without her permission.
