"These are good."
Samidha muttered, as she took a bite of that paratha.
"Try the chutney too."
Sahaj said, sliding her the green chutney. He ordered the parathas just for her and just took some noodles. Even though they ordered a half plate, it was a good amount.
Samidha nodded. After a minute or so she started,
"Soooooo, when did it happen?"
Sahaj looked up from his plate and raised his eyebrows, showing his confusion.
"You like Priya right?"
She stated and he choked on his bite. Samidha was quick to react, as she immediately gave him water and rubbed his back. She has never seen someone choke this badly.
It took him five minutes to calm down fully. By that time he had a lot of tears on his cheeks and red eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah............let's leave. It's almost time."
He muttered and Samidha furrowed her brows.
"But we have food left."
"Roll the paratha. I'll get the noodles packed."
She nodded and rolled her paratha, taking a bite out of it. Sahaj called the bhaiya from before and got the noodles packed in a small disposal packet.
"You haven't answered my question."
She said as they walked back to their coaching, taking a bite out of her paratha.
Sahaj rubbed his eyelid with his finger, trying to seem irritated, but scared in reality.
"Wh-"
"I won't leave you until you answer."
She interrupted before he could make any comment.
"Oh tell me no! I've helped you so many times. You can do just this much for me."
She whined and Sahaj let his hands fall to his side. There was no use in arguing with her.
"Who said I liked her?"
"What's there to be said? I can see things myself. You look at her all the time. You are not rude to her, in fact you talk to her politely. And you didn't even mind sitting with her. All that suggests to like her. And there's nothing wrong with it. She finds you attractive too. Just a little rude, but it would be fine if you just started acting formally with everyone instead of being angry."
She explained, like a child explaining their favourite movie to their friend.
"Why don't we walk fast-"
"RUN OVER ME BASTARD! YOU ILLEGITIMATE SON OF A BAT! BLIND FELLOW!"
Samidha shouted at the top of her lungs, turning around as a car sped off almost touching her.
But, to her surprise the car stopped.
"Looks like he wants to fight."
Sahaj muttered cracking his knuckles and Samidha looked at him.
"Then I'll make sure he gets a good one."
Samidha looked deadly, contrasting to how her mood was just fifteen seconds ago. And her statement shocked Sahaj.
By her looks and behaviour, people always assumed that she won't hesitate to fight in any situation. But she made it clear many times that she wasn't the one to get in unnecessary fights and that she was even willing to back down if she thought the fight would be really unnecessary.
So now, it left Sahaj a little stunned.
He always knew she was just acting to be like that. It was impossible for her to back down when someone challenged her. He knew she was a wild one.
Samidha didn't make any move to move towards the car, instead she just stood relaxed, facing it, with her hands folded.
A boy came out of the car. From the driver seat.
