"Fuck. Fine. Do it."
As soon as these golden words left his mouth, Samidha started cleaning the wound. It was silent between them except for the sounds Sahaj made when she dabbed the Dettol on his wounds. It was burning as hell.
"Ointment.........."
Samidha muttered to herself as she took out a small drop of Betadine and held his hand again"This is going to burn. Even more than the Dettol."
She said to him without looking up and lightly started applying it to his knuckles. She was right. It burned as hell and his soul almost left his body. He clutched her hand tightly.
Samidha looked up at him through her lashes, making circles on his skin with his thumb, just to find him trying to bury himself in the seat with eyes closed shut and lips in a frown.
"Sahaj?"
He didn't answer, instead he twisted in his seat and tried to bury his face in the seat. It was hurting. It was hurting so much! He has never experienced such a pain in his whole fucking life even when did boxing and had such splits very often. But he never treated his wounds. If he knew that first aid meant this much pain then he would never let her treat his wounds too.
"Sahaj?"
Samidha again called out softly, reaching for his shoulder. As soon as her fingers touched him, he flinched. He opened his eyes and Samidha could see how much it was hurting him. A chuckle left her lips.
How can a guy like him react in such a way for a small injury?
"Don't fucking laugh!"
He tried to threaten her but his voice came out squeaky and shaky.Samidha fell back in her seat, now laughing like a maniac.
Sahaj was trying, but he was not able to get angry really. She can make people laugh, by just laughing herself.
"Don't laugh!"
"How do you expect me to not laugh my love?! You are so big, just about an inche to 6 and still crying over your wounds burning!"
She cried out, laughing and patting the seat really hard.Sahaj raised his brows. Why was she getting so happy about him getting hurt? WHY?!
"You get really happy when others are in pain huh?"
He asked and Samidha fell back in her seat, controlling her laugh. Finally when she was able to talk, she turned towards him with her shit eating grin."Look, it's all happening because of you and your stupid macho man image. Had you not acted like a brainless aggressive person, I wouldn't find it this unusual."
She explained and Sahaj sighed. He was annoyed now.
"Why are you calling me brainless every damn time?"
He asked really interested in what she considered intelligent, now that she has called him brainless over a million times.
Samidha turned fully in her seat and faced him. No smile graced her face now.
"Promise me you won't get angry."
She demanded taking out her right hand and keeping it in front of him.How was he not supposed to get angry when she is gonna tell him the reason why she calls him brainless?
He looked back and forth from her face to her end.
"Leave it then. Just drop me home."
She said quietly and turned back to face the front, visibly upset.Sahaj couldn't believe his ears. He has never heard her talk like that. She was either loud or soft. Never quiet and serious. Either she was laughing or saying something very softly in a low voice. Never in a quiet voice like that.
