Sahaj was sitting in his cabin, going through an important file when the door swung open and entered his father, along with the girl from before.
He glared at her and she ignored him, looking around his cabin. It was huge! And she loved the way his bookshelf looked. It was filled with files and some non fiction books, and some real bonsai plants were kept in between.
Three of the walls were made of glass windows and she wondered if anyone with acrophobia would be able to survive the beautiful look.
As she was looking around his cabin, a particular photo frame, hanging on the wall caught her eye.It was a photo of him from his teenage days. Must be from when she had left.
"So Sahaj, this is Caption Samidha Sharma. She's here on my special request for your security."
"I don't need security."
"Yes you do. Don't argue with me on that. I let you do whatever you want but you need security."
His father snapped and he frowned.
He looked at her to find her staring at his pictures, totally distracted."She will keep me safe? Just look at her, she doesn't even have her attention here. And don't get me wrong but she is a woman after all and she's smaller than many women. How will she take down a ma-"
"Sahaj! She's a Captain. An army officer. She was specially chosen for the secret services from her unit. Do you know how hard it was for me to get her to be with you for just a month? The officials weren't least bit ready because she's so good in her job. You are not disrespecting her. From now on, she will pose as your personal assistant for the world and stay with you 24×7. She will stay at our house, she will be in your cabin and she will be in your car and you don't get a say in it! UNDERSTAND?"
His father yelled, ready to have a fight. He wasn't going to compromise with his son's safety."But Pa-"
"Don't worry Mr.Kashyap. You won't even know I'm there. Also I'm quite good at my job."
She butted in when she saw Senior Kashyap's veins popping put of his forehead.
She didn't want to be amidst a family drama.Sahaj gritted his teeth as his father left the room, glaring at him.
"I.....uh........-"
Glaring at her, he threw the files on his table and left, banging the door.
She sighed.
How much she wanted to just pull out her gun and shoot him.Why can't they have a proper start?
Is fighting necessary?_______________________________________
"Get me a coffee. Strong."
"I'm not your servant."
Samidha snapped back when Sahaj ordered her.
She glared at him and he raised his brow."But you are my P.A."
"I'm posing as your P.A. Mr. Kashyap. And even a PA doesn't have to bring you coffee."
Sahaj banged his hand on the table and stood up, raging.
"If you pose as my assistant, you do what my assistant does! Bring me my goddamn coffee!"
"I won't."
"Then get out of my compound!"
"I won't! You aren't my employer and you can't fire me. Only Aditya Uncle can ask me to leave this ground. Until then you are stuck with me. And I won't get you a coffee. I'm n-"
Her speech was cut off by a person entering the cabin. She turned around and her breath hitched.
Shubham glared at her and walked past her to his friend's side, while she stared at him open mouthed.
