Chapter 14: Getting To Know You, Tickets To Theoi Blela's First Half Drag Show!
It was another day in the Spring Season of Theoi Blela.
Aaron, Lato, Wios and Suzan were in Fresh Flowers as Suzan looked around at the flowers in their pots.
"Hmm… What flowers…" She said, "I've never seen flowers like these ones before…"
"Welcome to another planet with life." Lato said,
"Heh heh… Of course…"
Suzan then looks at the windows of the shop.
"Such a nice day out…" She said, "If only we had something to do."
"Well considering that we had some customers here and there today, I think we should call it quits for today's shift." Aaron said,
"Yeah…" Lato said, "Slow day as usual."
"Hey, I'm sure we'll have a fast day soon!" Wios said, "Right now, me and Lato have got some business to do back at our home villages."
"Go right ahead." Aaron said, "I'm not stopping you two."
Later, Aaron and Suzan were closing up the store as Lato and Wios already left. Travis meanwhile appeared with his twin sister, Christine.
"Hi, Aaron!" Travis said,
Aaron turned to see Travis and blushed a bit.
"Oh! Hi, Travis!" Aaron said as he looked at Christine, "That's your twin sister, right?"
"Yup, this is Christine!" Travis said,
"Hi, I heard you and Travis get along, yeah?" Christine said while a little shy,
"Of course!" Aaron replied, "Yeah, of course! I mean, we haven't spoken to each other for a while since I was busy with the shop! Ha ha…"
"Yeah, yeah… Also, who's that robot next to you?" Travis wondered,
"I'm Suzan." Suzan replied, "I was a human scientist until some random explosion almost killed me, but my human brain was still alive and well, so it was then transported to my now new robotic self."
"Huh… Interesting. Anyways, you two wanna come with us for something special?"
"What's that?" Aaron wondered,
Travis then brings out what seems to be tickets. 4 of them.
"Surprise!" They happily said, "Tickets to Theoi Blela's First Half Drag Show of this year!"
"Oh my!" Aaron said, "Travis, you shouldn't have!"
"Meow-ha ha! I mean, we haven't chatted with each other for a while, so I thought this is the nicest time for us to get to know each other more! While watching a fantastic show where drag queens and kings show off their stride!"
"Thanks! I already can't wait!"
"When is the show?" Suzan wondered,
"Tonight." Travis replied,
"Wow, tonight?! Ok, we'll be with you guys!"
"Alright, it's settled then! Let's meet here again tonight at… 7PM? The show starts at 8 and it's only a 15 minute walk to a theater me and Christine have found where the show will be taking place!"
"Alright! Thank you, Travis and Christine!" Aaron said, "I mean it!"
"It's nothing! It's nothing!"
Someone meanwhile was watching them, who then turned out to be Renombre.
"A Drag show in Winra Theater?" He wondered, "I haven't been to one in a while… I don't want to ruin their fun while a show is happening… I guess I can wait until my time to strike… For now…"
Renombre puts on a mask of some sort.
"I'll have to blend in with the crowd." He said while holding a ticket for himself, "And enjoy the show."
He chuckled and scurried away.
