Chapter 21: The Golden Snapdragon Hunt, A Crow Steps In?!
Dead Center Forest. A place full of dark and dangerous foes that roam the forest and torment anyone in their paths.
Ghoulexis unfortunately wasn't afraid. She was walking around the forest with her best friend who was also an Elf, but had red and orange hair and was holding some sort of staff with a red crystal on it.
"It's not far away from Jitavoo, right Ghoulexis?" The Elf said,
"Oh yeah, Xunn!" Ghoulexis replied, "Been a while since I've visited my village! Wonder if anything changes…"
"It's a village full of your fellow voodoo elf friends and family! I'm sure nothing will change!"
"Ha ha, you're right, mate!"
While the two were talking, Renombre was wearing a mask and was spying on them.
"Perfect…" He said, "Those two are standing in my way of finding the Golden Snapdragon…"
Remombre then sighed.
"I know those two don't know anything that's going on between me and Floroso, but I'll be damned to have them know it anyways!" He shouted,
Then, Ghoulexis and Xunn saw purple flames swirling around the area they were in.
"Crikey, what's going on here?" Ghoulexis wondered,
"Uhhh, Ghoulie?" Xunn said, "Is that a Voodoo Elf doing it?"
"No?! This purple stuff is…"
Ghoulexis then gasped.
"Fire!" She shouted, "Where is this purple fire coming–"
Then, a purple flame ball was shot at the ground behind Ghoulexis and Xunn, creating an explosion. The two elves gasped as they got out of where the sudden explosion started.
"What the hell was that?!" Xunn shouted as she felt her ankles being burned, "Oww! It burned my ankles!"
Ghoulexis moved her legs around.
"Crikey! That bloody someone burned my ankles badly as well!" She shouted,
The two then felt something sinister behind them.
"Who's there?" Ghoulexis said to Xunn,
"...I don't know." Xunn replied,
The two walked forward a bit and turned to see Renombre in his mask. They jumped as Renombre fired his Purple Flames on them. The two landed near a boulder.
"Who is that guy?!" Xunn shouted,
"I don't know!" Ghoulexis replied,
"Well if he wants to play with fire, then so be it!"
Xunn then started to power up her Fire Staff. The red crystal on her staff started to glow as Xunn started to create Fire magic.
"Here we go!" Xunn said, "Come at me, whoever you are!"
Aaron, Suzan and Floroso meanwhile were in another area of Dead Center Forest.
"Wow, Queen Melinda sure was nice." Suzan said,
"And considering that you met a queen for the first time, it was an easy introduction for you." Aaron said,
"Yeah, whatever that means."
