Chapter 38: Aftermath Of The Big Freaky Fight

Aaron, Travis, Ghoulexis, Suzan, Floroso, Melinda and Xunn were camping out near The Garden Of Wonders. Brunhild and Grazia had jobs to do, so they couldn't spend time with them.

The 7 allies then group up and discuss what just happened.

"Crikey, all that just happened…" Ghoulexis said,

"What exactly happened?" Xunn wondered,

"We were trapped in that circus for almost a week!" Aaron replied, "It was terrifying and hell!"

"We ended up playing board games and it almost lost our minds!" Travis said, "I mean almost because we can sleep and eat thankfully…"

"Huh, I see…" Floroso said, "Well, we all gotta be careful with those Freaks around…"

"Indeed we must." Melinda said, "The Twilight Carnival isn't safe when those 7 are roaming around there. …Or maybe around Dead Center Forest because we fought one of them, me and Floroso."

"You did?" Aaron wondered,

"Sage, some Pretender Freak with the Sloth sin." Floroso replied,

"I see…"

"And he was fighting Renombre." Melinda said, "So there was that."

"Renombre really hates those freaks, huh?" Ghoulexis wondered, "I wonder why…"

"They are on the same team." Suzan said, "And they want to get Aaron."

"But Renombre didn't get us as he wanted to deal with Lucas." Floroso said,

"Which is the crazy part." Xunn said,

"Hey, how's your hunt for The Golden Snapdragon?" Floroso asked Aaron, "The one still protected by the dangerous monsters is still there."

"Oh, we haven't been to that dangerous side of Dead Center Forest yet." Aaron said, "Considering that we were hungry and we went to the circus…"

"Don't worry about it. With all that aside, they probably won't be coming after you now that they got Renombre."

"I sure hope so…"

Back at The Midnight Sky Circus, Lucas was prancing around.

"Damn that Flower Man and that Bee Bitch…" He said, "And that Fire Elf too… And those Crow Monsters… Damn them all!"

Spellisa then walked over to Lucas and comforted him.

"Don't worry about them, darling." She said to him, "We got Renombre."

Lucas sighed.

"Right, we still have that foxy bastard…" He said, "Make sure he suffers the same fate as that Flower Boy and his friends. He's in Webbo's Funhouse, yes?"

"He is." Spellisa replied, "And don't worry, he won't–"

Sage appeared.

"--Renombre is attempting to murder Webbo!" He shouted,

"What?!" Lucas shouted,

"Oh, great, now he's going after the reincarnation of your old Ringmaster!" Spellisa said, "Let's get him!"

Renombre had Webbo trapped by having his hands be covered in his purple flames and back to a wall.

"Where's your exit?!" Renombre shouted with anger, "Where's your stupid exit?!"

Webbo struggles to break free.

"Damn, yer a party pooper!" He shouted, "Trying to kill a clown and the reincarnation of The Great Binbobin!"

"I don't care!" Renombre shouted with anger, "You all piss me off!"

Spellisa appeared and used her top hat to swipe it and made Renombre disappear into it.

"What a sorry excuse for a kitsune he turned out to be." Spellisa said while frustrated,

Webbo was freed from Renombre's purple flames.

"Sheesh, what are we gonna do with him?" Webbo wondered,

"I'll let Lucas know about it." Spellisa replied, "Otherwise, we'll just release him back into the wild like the crazy animal he is. …Not Fenris though, since he's not crazy."

"Right… I'll follow along as always."

Lucas was in his bedroom as he was looking at his reflection.

"I'm still a Ringmaster of Lust…" He said, "I serve my Dark Lord well… I don't want to be as big of a disappointment as that Renombre fool… I just need to be more prepared… …maybe…"

Lucas then heard a voice.

"I shouldn't have left you alone, Lucas…" She said, "Why didn't I take you?"

Lucas clenched his fists.

"Get out of my mind!" He shouted as he turns around to see nothing behind him,

Lucas then sighed.

"I thought I no longer had to deal with you…" He said, "What is this madness?"

Spellisa comes in.

"Lucas?" She asked him, "Are you alright?"

"Oh, Spellisa! Yes, I'm fine…" Lucas replied, "Don't worry, I'm fine, everything is fine…"

"...Ok, I'm just making sure, that's all."

"Thank you, I appreciate your time."

Spellisa then sat next to Lucas as the two looked at their reflections.

"Aren't we beautiful for one another?" Spellisa wondered,

"Yes… We are." Lucas replied as he blushed,

The two moved closer and rested their heads on each other, smiling and giggling for one another.

"I love you, Lucas." Spellisa said,

"I love you too, my beautiful bunny~" Lucas said,

The two then kissed each other.

"By the way, how's Renombre doing?" Lucas wondered, "Did you release him?'

"Yeah." Spellisa replied, "He was gonna be a threat to us anyways if we don't act up."

"Good."

Spellisa yawned.

"Here, why don't we get some sleep?" She said, "It's been a long day."

"Certainly." Lucas said as he hold Spellisa's hand, "Let's go to our bed."

Spellisa and Lucas both looked at each other while blushing. The two were made for each other it seems.
