Chapter 57: When Enemies Meet In Different Situations
Travis, Ghoulexis and Suzan were walking in Dead Center Forest together to try and find Aaron.
“We're sticking close.” Suzan said, “Just so that no one gets lost.”
“I hope Aaron is ok, wherever he is at.” Travis said,
“I'm worried about him as much as Xunn.” Ghoulexis said, “I mean, did she and Aaron bump into each other when Aaron returned to Vothars? If this theory on Aaron coming back to Vothars is true, then…”
“You're out of track.” Suzan said,
“You're right, I am, sorry.”
“Well, we're all worried about Aaron.”
“Yup…”
Then, the three of them heard something making the bushes shake.
“You girls hear that?” Travis wondered,
“Yes, we did.” Suzan replied,
“Crikey, who's that in this hour?” Ghoulexis wondered,
The three of them backed up away from where the bushes were shaking. Then, someone appeared out of it. It was Spellisa. Everyone were surprised to see each one another.
“You! You're that magician girl that almost tried to kill us!” Ghoulexis said, “And the fresh maiden to that Ringmaster!”
“I'm not a maiden!” Spellisa said, “I'm just a lovey-dovey bunny to my Ringmaster!”
“What are you doing out here?” Suzan said, “You brought your little friends to try and capture us again?”
“No! Although I plan on doing so later after finding my Ringmaster…”
“Finding your Ringmaster?” Travis wondered,
“Why so?” Ghoulexis wondered, “Did something bad happen?”
“It's none of your business!” Spellisa replied as she flicked her hair back a bit, “Besides, we never liked you anyways…”
“Hey, we don't like you guys either.” Suzan said, “But how about we team up and find our close ones?”
Spellisa then had the look on her face like she saw a ghost.
“What?” She said, “Me teaming up to find you three? Who are you exactly finding anyways?”
“Aaron.” Ghoulexis replied,
“Oh, the flower boy, of course.”
Spellisa turned around and sighed as she started to think for herself.
“Now they're playing possum…” She said to herself, “Good, I think once we're done teaming up to find that flower boy and my darling Ringmaster, Lucas, we'll finally lure them in and take them to our Dark Lord…”
Spellisa turned around to be face-to-face with Travis, Ghoulexis and Suzan. She sighed again.
“Alright, fine, I'll be with you three.” She said,
“Good.” Suzan said, “No shady stuff from you, ok?”
“Uh-huh, cool, I'll follow along with you three.”
