Chapter 64: Reunited!
Aaron went back to Mary's house to have Lucas rest with Mary using her powers to heal Lucas's conscience. Xunn was there with Aaron as protection.
“Will he be ok?” Aaron wondered,
“I'm sure he will be.” Mary replied, “And the good news is that he's out of my ex-husband's control, and the same will probably go to his cult.”
“Sure hope so.” Xunn said, “Otherwise, he might start trying to kidnap Aaron again.”
“And probably have me go through playing board games for like a week.” Aaron said, “...Maybe not, but it has happened before.”
“Was he also a little extra towards you?”
“Yeah. I still remember that one time he told me that he and Spellisa wouldn't mind being in an open relationship with another person or something like that.”
“Damn… So much for being the Ringmaster of Lust…”
“Well he doesn't have to carry a lot of Lust with him anymore.” Mary said, “Because he's out of my ex-husband's control and should wake up any minute now.”
Lucas slowly opened his eyes and groaned as he slowly woke up.
“Ahh jeez…” He said, “Aaron? Are you there?”
Aaron looked at Lucas.
“Hey, Lucas! I'm here!” He replied, “By the way, how are you feeling?”
“...I feel different…” Lucas replied as he yawned, “Dios mio…”
“Oh, some Spanish in the mix.” Xunn said,
Lucas turned away.
“Give me a few more minutes…” He said, “...Please.”
“We'll do that.” Mary said as she turned to Aaron and Xunn, “Come on, you two.”
Aaron, Xunn and Mary were in another room.
“Sure hope he's not gonna try and kill you, Aaron.” Xunn said,
“I doubt he would.” Mary said,
“We're still believing in you.”
“Well we did find The Orange Orb and he got to meet with his mother one more time.” Aaron said, “So… Yeah, I don't think he's gonna kill me or have the Dark Lord kill me.”
Then, the front door was knocking.
“I got it.” Mary said as she went over to the front door,
Mary opened the front door to reveal James.
“Hello, son.” Mary said, “Returned already?”
“Yes, there were some people that were looking for Aaron.” James replied, “And for Lucas, surprisingly.”
“Really? Well, let them in.”
Aaron and Xunn were confused, but then gasped as Travis, Ghoulexis, Suzan and Spellisa entered the home.
“Aaron!” Travis happily said,
“Crikey, Xunn is also here!” Ghoulexis happily said,
“Ghoulexis!” Xunn happily said,
“You guys are ok!” Aaron happily said,
