Chapter 19: Exploring Poroku Ruins, A Ghostly Crush?
The Votharian Flying Flower then landed as Aaron got off and went to Lato and Wios.
"Hey guys!" Aaron said,
"Fancy meeting you here, Aaron!" Lato said,
"Yeah!" Wios said, "What brings you here anyways with Floroso?"
"Well we heard an explosion and it came from your village here!" Aaron replied,
"Demons attacked us." Lato replied, "But we managed to outmatch them."
"Oh thank the– Wait a minute, demons?!"
Yeishin and Zino appeared.
"Oh, hey Yeishin and Zino." Aaron said, calmly
"What a change in emotion." Floroso said, "Now, demons have returned, huh?"
"Correct." Lato said, "Basically… They took over Renombre and they were trying to find Aaron under his position."
"Hmm… Looks like a Dark Lord has decided to come after you, Aaron…"
"Of course they're after me as well!" Aaron said, "But why?! Is it because I'm the famous Flower Human?!"
"That's the only logical explanation." Wios said,
Aaron sighed heavily.
"Great, now I'm surviving to try and live another day in my own sweet Votharian life…" He said,
Yeishin cleared her throat.
"Hey, you should visit The Poroku Ruins." She said, "A national treasure here. Maybe that will clear your mind."
"Maybe the ruins will also have some clear history on the demons fighting the Flower Humans and the Season Elves." Floroso said,
"I'll check it out with Suzan." Aaron said,
"That robot next to you?" Yeishin asked,
Suzan waved.
"Hello, Suzan is me!" She said, "Me and Aaron are friends and I used to be human."
"Really?" Yeishin said, shocked, "How did you–"
"--Long story short, blown to bits in a laboratory, brain's still alive, my friends transferred my brain to a robotic version of myself and here I am."
"...That's a lot."
"It is and now I'm interested in learning about life here in Vothars."
"Good luck with that."
Yeishin walked away. Zino looked at Suzan.
"She and I used to date." He said,
"Really?" Suzan wondered, "What caused you two to break up?"
"We're just not interested in each other. That's it."
"I see and you two still talk to each other?"
"Not much."
"I can see why…"
"Anyways, why don't we all stay put in Poroku for a while?" Floroso said, "Wios, any flowers here that I can take back to The Garden Of Wonders?"
"Sure!" Wios happily replied, "Come on, Lato, let's help him out."
"I guess that can help clear my mind off of what has happened here." Lato said, "Alright then, we'll be happy to help you, Floroso."
