Chapter 61: The Temple Of Olaharf
Aaron and Lucas then continued to walk down the same path Prerey pointed them to where the old temple containing The Orange Orb would be at.
Ugh, how long have we been walking for?” Lucas wondered,
“It's been a minute.” Aaron replied, confused, “No way you're exhausted already.”
“I don't care, I just want to get this over with and then deal with you!”
“What did I do?! I'm helping you!”
“You wanna know what you do?”
“Yeah?”
“Exist.”
Aaron sighed.
“You gotta be kidding me…” He said, “Sometimes I wonder if you'll change…”
“I ain't changing one bit.” Lucas said,
“Whatever…”
Another minute has passed and the two then saw two flat stone pillars that are connected to each other and a pile of moss and plants.
“Ah! This is it!” Aaron said,
“About time.” Lucas said,
“It's been 2 minutes, get over it. It wasn't a painful half hour walk.”
Lucas rolled his eyes and sighed.
“Anyways, what do we do?” He wondered, “Did that freaky plant lady tell us anything about them?”
“Well she said something about having the two of us stand on them to see what happens.” Aaron replied,
“Alright, let's get it over with.”
Aaron and Lucas then step on the two stone pillars to activate them. Then, everything around them started to shake as a giant temple came out of the ground with the leaves and moss still on top of it.
“No way!” Aaron said,
“Incredible.” Lucas said,
“Shall we?”
“Heh, sure, she said we got 1 hour anyway!”
Aaron and Lucas then hurried inside the temple. Inside, it was a little dark, but had lights all around them.
“Woah…” Aaron said, “I've never been to a temple like this one in my life…”
“Are ruins similar to a temple?” Lucas wondered,
“Not really… Considering that I've been to a ruin before…”
Lucas then looked at carvings on a wall.
“Welcome to the Temple of Olaharf.” He read, “Those who dare enter to find treasure or visit have 1 hour to get in and get out, otherwise, you'll be stuck forever.”
“Well we have no time to waste!” Lucas said,
“Hold on! Look at this.”
Lucas pointed Aaron to a carved map of the temple. He pointed to an orange dot.
“In the middle, I believe that's what we're looking for.” Lucas said, “So we gotta make sure that our guards aren't lower. There might be traps in our way if we're not careful.”
“...You're right.” Aaron said, “We gotta hurry, but be careful.”
“...Yeah, something like that. Come on, let's get this over with.”
