Chapter 50: Cello's Origin

*1 year ago…*

A man named Cello was working at a library in Magecliff. Sometimes he was questioning his future.

“Damn it, I've been a librarian for 5 years.” He said, “I've graduated college, but my life hasn't changed!”

Cello then puts some new books away as he then sighed.

“If only my life had become more… unique.” He said, “What does it take to turn over a new leaf?”

Cello then noticed something glowing a dark blue in the distance.

“Huh?” He wondered, “What's this?”

Cello walked over to the dark blue glow and noticed that a book was glowing that power.

“Interesting…” He said,

Cello then got out the book and saw that it had no title.

“No title?” He wondered, “Wonder why…”

Cello then tried to open the book, but it was sealed shut.

“Huh…” He wondered, “It's locked.”

Cello then puts the book away as he decides to borrow it for a bit.

“Guess I'm gonna borrow it for a while.” He said, “I need to see what this book is about…”

Cello then heads home with the book. However, midway through his way home, the book started to glow a darker blue.

“What now?” He wondered as he opened the book and found out that it opened this time, “What page was it?”

Aa Cello flipped through the pages, the glowing got darker as Cello then found the page. The page then flashed him with dark blue magic. Cello had to drop the book and rub his eyes.

“My eyes!” He said, “What happened?! What was that?!”

Cello then turned to the book and noticed that something was glowing out of it, being some sort of portal to another world.

“Huh? A portal?” He wondered, “Do I go in there?”

Cello then shook his head.

“No, I can't!” He said, “I gotta close this book!”

As Cello touched the book, the magic then got to him as he then got sucked into the portal. The book then took itself into the portal it created as the portal then closed.

Cello was then awakened in another area. He looked around and felt something. He looked at where his hands were and noticed that the book was there with him. He looked at the book and smiled.

“Oh… This is interesting…” He said, “It seems that my life has been turned around…”

Cello then got up and looked at the pages the book provided him. He had a grinning smirk.

“Perfect.” He said as he started to speak Votharian, “Ajunmera Saline… Stinpia Orcha Monblu!”

An evil magical flow started to flow around Cello as his appearance started to change. As the magic started to fade, Cello was under a different look. He was wearing a dark blue suit, has blue skin, different eyes and a scorpion stinger. He looked around at his new body and smiled.

“Excellent…” He said in a different tone, “This is all that I need to spread my malicious talent around Meloland…”

Cello chuckled menacingly as his eyes started to glow red. Then, darkness.
