Chapter 69

Chapter 69: The True Final Battle! Lambert's Unstoppable Power!

Aaron and James then rushed in the main hall to the throne room where Lambert was at. When they got to the front door, they stopped and took time to prepare.

“This is it…” James said. “My father's throne room on the other side…”

“To avenge my father…” Aaron said, “And to save Vothars and Darterta from this man…”

“Let's do this. Together, we will triumph.”

“Indeed.”

Aaron and James then opened the doors to the throne room. Lambert was on his throne, waiting for Aaron and James to show up, and they did. Lambert looked down at them from his throne up the few stairs.

“So… You two are here.” He said,

“We are.” James said as he raised his sword up, “And we'll take you down, once and for all!”

Lambert chuckled.

“Oh, ok, good luck with that.” He said as he got up, “And you know something? I'm surprised that you two made it to this far.”

Lambert then got out a Golden Snapdragon that he had for a while.

“No way!” Aaron said as he and James were shocked, “He's got the Golden Snapdragon from a while ago!”

“And he still has a hold of it…” James said,

Lambert chuckled more.

“Of course, thank Renombre for giving me this!” He said, “Because this is all I need to gain so much power with my Dark Art!”

Lambert then burned the Golden Snapdragon with his Dark Art magic and harnessed it with the same thing. Then, he started to create a storm of Dark Art magic as he then slowly grew more powerful.

“This is bad, he's becoming more powerful!” James said as he turned to Aaron, “You and I must stop him, now!”

“Right!” Aaron said as he and James prepared their swords, “Let's finish this!”

Lambert then created a giant sword out of his demonic Dark Art and wielded it with Pride.

“Let's dance!” He shouted,

Aaron and James then went after Lambert to fight him with their swords. Lambert blocked their swords with his giant sword.

“Is that the best you got?!” Lambert shouted as he stomped the floor to create an explosive Dark Art field in between him and Aaron and James, “Away with you!”

Aaron and James were then knocked back by the explosive field. Luckily, they were still up.

“He's strong…” Aaron said,

“Of course he is…” James said, “He's a demonic Dark Lord, after all…”

Lambert then snapped his fingers to awaken something from below.

A giant demonic snake of some sort came out of the ground to be near Lambert. Upon close look, it has the head of a dragon. It roared at Aaron and James.

“He's already got backup!” James said as he clenched his sword, “Let's take that thing down and then him!”

“R-Right!” Aaron said as he held his two flowery swords, “Lead the way!”

Aaron followed James to take on the demonic dragon-headed snake. Lambert ordered his snake to attack by breathing a dark flame at them, but James created a barrier out of his fallen holy magic to protect him and Aaron from the flames.

“Aaron, hop on my shoulders!” James said,

“Uhh, ok!” Aaron said as he does so,

James then ran up the long body of the demonic snake with Aaron on his shoulder. Aaron then gets off and drives his swords on the snake. Then, flowers started to bloom all over the snake, weakening it. Lambert then clenched his fists as he controlled his snake and absorbed its life out of it, making a big aura flowing around his sword. Aaron then landed on the floor next to James. The two watched as Lambert started to power up an attack with his sword.

“Now try and survive this!” He said,

“His powers are unbelievable…” Aaron said,

“Don't get distracted!” James said as he covered Aaron's eyes, “He's slowly controlling you to take the damage!”

“Oh! What do we do?!”

“Brace yourselves!”

Lambert then pierced the ground with his sword to create a powerful blast of his demonic Dark Art magic at Aaron and James. The two were then knocked back by the unbelievable power Lambert threw at them. Lambert then laughed menacingly.

“Is that it?!” He said, “You two clearly defended yourselves, but it wouldn't help!”

Lambert then walked down to be in the middle of his throne room. He sighed.

“Truly, I was hoping for a challenge from you two.” He said, “So much for my son and the son of Barney Petali that I murdered with cold blood.”

Lambert looked at them as they were out cold. He chuckled.

“Alright, I'll give you two a few seconds.” He said, “...Or a few minutes. If you do get up, I'll just knock you back down anyways.”

Lambert then started to power up his sword to create another powerful attack.

“Hopefully this will finish you two off!” He said while laughing menacingly,

Aaron and James were still knocked out cold without knowing that Lambert was gonna finish them off. How will they get out of this situation?
