Chapter 55: Worrying About The Others
In Poroku, Xunn was visiting there again, but this time she had Floroso and Queen Melinda of Honacob with her. This was Melinda's first time visiting another village. Two bee monster soldiers were guarding her.
“I've never been to another village before.” Melinda said, “You two said that it was full Season Elves, correct?”
“Correct.” Floroso replied,
“It's a cool place.” Xunn said, “I'm sure you'll find a liking for something there.”
“Alright, but my expectations are low as always.” Melinda said, “Show me around, you two.”
Wios appeared as saw them.
“Oh, hi Floroso!” She happily said, “Hi Xunn!”
“Hey.” Xunn said,
“A nice time to meet you, Wios.” Floroso said,
Wios saw Melinda, got surprised and was on one knee.
“Oh, apologies, your random royal majesty.” She said,
Melinda chuckled a bit.
“It's fine.” She said, “I'm new here anyways.”
Lato appeared as well.
“Nice to see you again, Floroso.” He said, “I see you brought Xunn and… Queen Melinda?”
“You know her?” Wios wondered,
“I know who she is, but I haven't met her until now. She's the ruler of Honacob, yeah? Zino told me about her.”
“Oh, I see.”
“Well I might be famous here already.” Melinda said,
“Probably not.” Lato said, “Not a lot of elves here in Poroku ever heard of Honacob or even seen bee monsters before.”
“I see, well, forget what I said.”
Wios then got up and wrapped her arms around Lato's right arm.
“We're dating, by the way.” Wios said as she blushed a bit,
“Heh heh, yeah, we are.” Lato said while blushing a bit too, “So, what brings you all here?”
“Showing Melinda around.” Floroso replied,
“Oh, cool, we'll leave you be.”
“Thanks.” Melinda said,
“Ok, with that fancy little conversation out of the way, we'll be on our way.” Floroso said, “Take care, you two.”
Xunn looked at Lato and Wios after Floroso and Melinda walked away.
“Hey, Xunn, if that's your name…” Lato said,
“Hmm? What's up?” Xunn wondered,
“Have you seen Aaron recently?”
“We haven't heard from him ever since you were part of the rescue to find him and his friends from an evil ringmaster of some sort.” Wios said,
“...No, not in a while.” Xunn replied, “Oh, and any updates on Renombre?”
“He hasn't attacked us ever since he tried to invade our village.” Lato replied, “So I guess something is worrying around here.”
“Pretty much.” Wios said,
“Hmmm… I'll talk to Floroso and Melinda about this.” Xunn replied, “Thanks for the heads-up, you two.”
“Don't worry about it.” Lato said,
Xunn then walked to Floroso and Melinda to catch up to them.
“Have you two ever seen Aaron again ever since you saved him from Lucas?” She asked them,
“No, now that you mentioned it.” Floroso replied, “I haven't heard from him.”
“I haven't either.” Melinda replied, “He has gone quiet ever since he's back on the hunt for the Golden Snapdragon.”
“Hell, I'm also worried about Ghoulexis.” Xunn said, “She's my best friend and has feelings for Aaron and that fashion icon that's also on their adventure together.”
“She's got feelings for two of them instead of one?”
“Well, yeah… She's the kinda girl to also be in a relationship with more than one partner, as long as the multiple partners that Ghoulexis loves also love each other.”
“I see… Well, good for her.”
“Yeah…”
Yeishin appeared to see them.
“Xunn, Floroso? And… whoever you are, Your Majesty, apologies.” She said, “What are you all doing here?”
“Showing Queen Melinda of Honacob around here.” Xunn replied,
“Yeah, she wants to learn more about the season elves and what they do.” Floroso said,
“I see.” Yeishin said, “Well, guess I'll be on my way.”
“Hey, before you go, have you heard from Aaron?” Xunn wondered,
“Nope, I don't talk to Aaron all that much. Sorry.”
“Oh, don't worry, it's fine.” Floroso replied,
Yeishin walked away. Floroso sighed.
“Where have Aaron and friends gone to?” He wondered, “Where could they be to the point where they haven't talked to us in a while?”
Floroso thought for a moment and then gasped.
“I think I know now!” He said, “But I think we should wait until we see if Aaron has found the Golden Snapdragon in Dead Center Forest!”
“By the way, you said that the Golden Snapdragon was guarded by some sort of monsters?” Xunn wondered,
“Yeah, but one of them is a powerful plant monster, she controls the plants in the dangerous side of Dead Center Forest.”
“Wait, you don't mean her, right?”
“Yes, I do mean her, but Aaron might have to deal with her at the time being.”
“I sure hope Aaron and his friends are all alive, safe and sound…” Melinda said, “We're all at stake here.”
