Chapter 17: A New & Special Day, Practicing With Floroso!
It's been a day since Renombre's 2nd attack. After what happened, Floroso decided to take Aaron to The Garden Of Wonders for some practice with his Flower Power.
"Alright, with Renombre's continuation of his hunt for you, I think it's time for us to get into the basis of our Flower Power." Floroso said,
"Right." Aaron said, "Ready when you are."
Floroso then showed Aaron some empty dirt on the ground.
"Now, you already know how to plant flowers with your Flower Power." Floroso said, "So that's already one step done."
"Yes…" Aaron said as he was paying attention,
"But here's how to spice things up when planting."
"Go on."
Floroso then used his Flower Power magic to create a daisy with layers of petals.
"Take for example the Multi-Layer Daisy." He said, "They might look harmless, but they blast their multiple layers of sticky petals at enemies."
"Interesting…" Aaron said, "How do I add the spice when it comes to planting these kinds of flowers?"
"Simple. It's in the power of your fingertips."
"Huh?"
"How you create them with your hands and what movements they got, to be exact."
"Oh, I see…"
"Yeah… Shouldn't have been more specific."
"Don't worry, I'll practice with my hands."
"Oh, and one more thing. Have patience."
"Got it."
Aaron took a deep breath as he slowly moved his hands while creating a flower.
"This is interesting…" Floroso said to himself,
Aaron then started to create 3 flowers. Two purple roses and a tornado-shaped flower.
"Ah! Excellent!" Floroso said, "Two Royalty Roses and a Twister!"
The Twister flower then started to fly out of its stem and flew to a tree full of Twister flowers.
"Looks like those flowers only fly to trees full of them." Floroso said,
"Wow…" Aaron said, "And what do those Royalty Roses do?"
"You'll find out when that time comes."
Floroso then uses his Flower Power to have the two Royalty Roses break free from their roots and join in Aaron's pockets.
"There you go." Floroso said, "These flowers are now your's. They'll come to action when something bad happens."
"I see…" Aaron said, "I'm looking forward to it during the time being."
Later, Suzan was with Aaron as she was looking at the flowers near a river.
"Hmm, this Floroso guy really knows his way with nature." She said as she looked at one, which was a white rose, "I never knew roses can be the color white. I always thought that roses were always red."
Back to Aaron and Floroso, Floroso demonstrated how to make a literal weapon with the power of flowers.
"Now, with flowers on your side, you can also have the power to create a weapon through them." Floroso said,
"Really now?" Aaron wondered,
"Really. Stand back and watch."
Floroso then used his Flower Power to create a lance out of roots, flowers and a special sharp rock on it. It came from the ground below as Floroso then grabbed it and did some tricks with it.
"Woah…" Aaron said,
"I know, it's impressive." Floroso said, "It takes practice to make these kinds of weapons."
"What's the technique?"
"The technique is to imagine yourself with a weapon in the palm of your hands, but instead of having it appear mid-air, you have Mother Nature herself create one for you out straight from the ground!
"I see, so if I put my hand out and then close my eyes to imagine myself with a weapon, then I get a weapon from the ground out of flowers, sticks and stones?"
"Oh yeah."
"Man, this Flower Power magic is always something new to me."
"I'm glad you're getting to become one with your Flower Power."
Aaron took a deep breath as he tried to imagine himself with a weapon of his choice, but he and Floroso then felt an explosion coming from somewhere!
"What was that?!" Aaron said,
"I don't know!" Floroso replied, "Where's Suzan?"
Suzan appears as she walks towards them.
"You boys heard that too, huh?" She asked them,
"We did." Aaron replied, "Floroso! Where did it come from?"
Floroso then gets on one knee and places his hands on the ground.
"Fun Fact, I'm ambidextrous." Floroso said, "But anyways!"
Floroso then had a green glowing aura glow around him as he traced where the explosion was from.
"It's coming from Poroku!" He said,
"That's where Wios and Lato are from!" Aaron said, "Where all four of the Season Elves of each Season live in peace!"
"Come on, we're checking it out! It's from the Northwest of Theoi Blela, far away from Dead Center Forest!"
"How are we gonna get there?" Suzan wondered,
Floroso smiled.
"Simple." He said as he placed his right hand on the ground and raised his left hand, "Flower Power!"
Floroso then snapped his fingers on his left hand as the ground he, Aaron and Suzan were on started to shake.
"What's going on here?!" Suzan shouted,
"Don't know, but this is getting more bizarre by the minute!" Aaron replied,
A giant flower with leaf wings appeared while Floroso, Aaron and Suzan were on top of it.
"Oh my! A giant flower with leaves as wings!" He shouted,
"Introducing The Votharian Flying Flower!" Floroso replied, "Created by the Gods and Goddesses of Nature from long ago! Only those powerful enough can call forth this sacred plant!"
"This is amazing! I never knew this kinda flower would be divine!"
Floroso then got up and raised his arms.
"Great flower of the Gods and Goddesses, take us to Poroku!" He shouted,
The Votharian Flying Flower then flew up in the air and took Aaron, Suzan and Floroso to Poroku.
