Chapter 30: The House Of Terror, The Puppeteer Of Greed's Strings!
Aaron, Suzan, Travis and Ghoulexis meanwhile were passed out in another room. Aaron and Ghoulexis got up.
"Crikey…" Ghoulexis said,
"Ugh… Where are we now?" Aaron wondered,
Suzan and Travis got up as well. The four friends looked around.
"This is a very old room." Suzan said,
"It is…" Travis said, "What part of The Twilight Carnival are we in?"
Aaron looked at a sign that said, "Checkpoint" in red with drops coming from the bottom of the letters.
"Checkpoint…" He said, "And the word checkpoint is in red with drops…"
Travis gasped.
"Are we in a haunted house?" He said,
Aaron was surprised.
"Maybe." He said, "It looks haunted from the looks of it."
Travis nervously laughed a bit.
"Well, to be honest, I am a big fan of horror!" They said as they continued laughing nervously, "So I wouldn't be frightened by any of this all that much."
Aaron, Suzan and Ghoulexis were confused.
"But didn't you get scared over that Webbo guy's laughing?" Ghoulexis asked,
Travis got surprised as he just realized that.
"...Touche." He said,
Aaron, Ghoulexis and Suzan share a laugh together while Travis blush.
"Anyways, enough of that, let's get serious and get out of this bloody house." Ghoulexis said,
"Right." Aaron said,
Outside "The House Of Terror" two Ookamis were looking at it and noticed a sign that said, "Closed until further notice" next to the house.
"Huh, this attraction has been closed for a while." The male ookami said,
"Yeah." The female ookami said, "What's going on in there and what's taking this park so long from reopening it?"
Inside The House Of Terror, Aaron and his friends were walking around, trying to find a way out. Then, an animatronic banshee popped out in front of them, scaring them a bit. Then they share a laugh.
"Wow, I forgot this was a haunted house!" Suzan said,
"Almost gave me a heart attack!" Aaron said,
The two Ookamis meanwhile heard the animatronic going off from inside.
"I don't get it!" The male ookami said, "It's still operating normally!"
The female ookami then turned to a staff member of The Twilight Carnival.
"Excuse me, that attraction is running fine, yet it's closed." She asked the staff member,
"I don't know what to tell you two, but they told me it's closed for personal reasons." The staff member replied while drinking soda, "Excuse me, but I need to take a brunch break."
The staff member then left. The two ookamis were confused.
"Personal reasons?" The male ookami wondered,
