Chapter 15: The Drag Show In Winra Theater, Renombre Is Upon Them!
Winra Theater. One of the top theaters in Theoi Blela and all of Dandelion. Theoi Blela usually held their First Half Drag Shows here while the Second Half Shows are always in other theaters.
It was 7:30PM. Aaron, Suzan, Travis and Christine gave their tickets to the person behind the booth and went inside. Aaron bought a bag of chips for each of them, but Suzan looks at them with a face that confuses you.
"Is there something wrong?" Aaron wondered,
"Of course! I'm a robot!" Suzan replied, "I can't eat or drink anything real that's going to ruin my circuits! …Except for nails, screws, gears and oil…"
"Oh… Sorry…"
"More for me! I like chips anyways!" Christine said as Aaron gave her the extra bag,
"I'm gonna buy some water except for Suzan." Aaron said, "I'm not sure if the shop has any oil for you Suzan."
"You gave me enough oil before we left, so I'm good." Suzan said,
While they wait for their seats in another room… Outside, Renombre was in his disguise, a mask and suit. He gave the person behind the booth his ticket. The ticket person was a little confused about Renombre as he went inside, but shrugged as he went along with it.
Later, it was 7:55PM. Everyone was seated. Aaron, Suzan, Travis and Christine were sitting next to one another. Aaron was looking at the stage.
"I have never been to a theater in my life." He said,
Travis gasped.
"Aaron! You uncultured flower boy!" He said,
Aaron blushed and chuckled.
"It's true… This is my first time…" He said, "Usually with the technology we have today, I binge watch some shows and movies here and there…"
"Oh! Watching a theater up close is amazing!" Travis said as he purred happily, "I should take you to see some shows here more often. In the summer, there's gonna be a musical happening here!"
"I'm up for some musicals!"
"Heh heh, I knew you would!"
Suzan and Christine looked at them having fun with their conversations.
"Those two are so perfect together…" Christine said, "And considering that Aaron's family had had a history with dating Nekos here and there, it's a match made in heaven for these two."
"I never knew that a Neko and a human could find love." Suzan said,
"Well Nekos are humans with cat features on them. And Aaron isn't allergic to cats, so it's a win."
"Fair…"
Then, everyone in the audience went quiet. Renombre was in the far right back seat as he saw Aaron and his friends in the middle of the seats.
"Once this show is done…" He said, "My next attack on you will be special…"
Then, a guy comes out in makeup and a dark purple suit.
"Good evening everyone to Theoi Blela's 82nd First Half Drag Show!" He said the on microphone,
Everyone clapped.
"Now! Let's get this started!" He continued, "Let's start with the team captains for this year's two teams! On Team 1, she's a magical experience from start to finish! Introducing, The Fortune Teller!"
Everyone clapped as a Drag Queen nicknamed The Fortune Teller came out and did her show while pop music was played. Renombre was watching it all through his mask.
"This is rather amazing…" He said as he sighed, "I wish I was married to a Drag Queen or King…"
Later, the team leader for Team 2 is announced.
"He's a serious man with the face and spirit of a lone wolf!" The announcer said, "Everyone, let's meet the 10 times Drag King winner throughout his career, Le Loup Du Monsieur!"
Everyone clapped. Renombre clapped as well.
"Ha ha! French for The Gentleman's Wolf!" He said, "Wonder why this Drag King is so popular…"
The Drag King, Le Loup Du Monsieur appeared and did his show while folk music played with a banjo in the song. Christine looked at Le Loup Du Monsieur and blushed a bit.
"That's my Drag King Crush!" Christine said to Travis and Aaron,
"Oh really?" Aaron said, "What makes you like that particular Drag King?"
"The vision and experience Le Loup Du Monsieur has!"
"That's nice to hear. Do you have a Drag Queen crush?"
"Uhhh… No… I'm only into girls."
"Oh… Right… Right… Now I know…"
"Don't worry, it's alright."
Everyone then continued enjoying the Drag Show.
