Chapter 29: Escaping The Funhouse! The Pretender Of Sloth Strikes!

The two Flying Flowers meanwhile were flying over Dead Center Forest when they came across The Twilight Carnival.

Back in The Garden Of Wonders, Floroso and Melinda were watching one of the Flying Flowers through the device Melinda has.

"The Twilight Carnival…" Floroso said, "Has Aaron gone off there for something?"

"Who knows!" Melinda replied, "Maybe he went there for food since he and his friends were hungry!"

"That could be the only logical explanation… Let's check out The Midnight Sky Circus. Perhaps a show is going on there…"

The Flying Flowers went to The Midnight Sky Circus. It was pretty empty, except Spellisa was in there, wiping the dust off of her hat. She heard the propellers from the two Flying Flowers without turning her back to see them.

"So… That bunny girl is…" Melinda said, "Part of that circus, right?"

"Could be the case…" Floroso replied, "Let's go find Aaron somewhere else in this carnival.

Spellisa then turned to see the two Flying Flowers flying away. She had a stern look on her face and went to find Lucas.

Lucas was putting makeup on his face in his chamber.

"My~" He said, "I've never felt so alive and free~"

Lucas heard a knock on his door. He walked to the door and opened it to reveal Spellisa.

"Why hello my love~" Lucas said,

"Lucas…" Spellisa said as she kissed Lucas on his face,

"What brings you here?"

"What if I told you that there's some… Flowers that are here to find that Flower Boy?"

"Oh? You don't say?"

"I do… Those flowers were flying in the air… It seems that they were looking for the Flower Human we have a hold of."

Lucas thought for a moment.

"Excuse me, I need to find someone…" He said, "I think I know who's behind these flowers you're talking about."

Spellisa moved out of Lucas's way as he went out to find someone.

"I bet he's gonna have one of us find who's searching for that Flower Human…" She said, "Good."

As Lucas was on his way to find someone he knows, Webbo came with the lion-tailed human in his arms with his mouth taped shut.

"Oy, boss!" Webbo said, "I got one of them!"

Lucas looked at Webbo and the lion-tailed human.

"Where's The Flower Human at?" He asked,

"His Elf friend made me hallucinate!" Webbo replied, "I tried to go after them, but I was too dizzy from her magic! Luckily, I used my arms for this little man right here!"

Lucas looked at the lion-tailed human with disgust. The lion-tailed human gasped as he was scared.

"Keep him here." Lucas said to Webbo, "Then, go tell Spellisa to get them."

"On it, boss!" Webbo said as he ran off,

Lucas chuckled menacingly.

"Oh, this will be fun~" He said as he continued to walk to who he wants to find,
