Chapter 26: The Ringmaster's Lover, Spellisa The Prideful Magician!
Lucas then turned his attention to the audience and raised his arms out.
"Let's turn our attention to a close one of mine here in The Midnight Sky Circus!" He shouted,
Everyone got Lucas his attention.
"She's a bunny with a hat full of magic!" He said, "She's got magic so amazing, so majestic, it will blow your socks off!"
Lucas giggled menacingly.
"…And of course, she's the love of my life~" He said,
Lucas turned to another spotlight.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to The Magnificent Magician herself!" He shouted, "Spellisa Hyde!"
A magic hat appeared out of magical thin air. Then, magical smoke appeared out of the hat as Spellisa herself appeared. She was a pink-skinned rabbit monster of some sort. Some of the audience were surprised by her appearance.
"Oh my gosh! Look at her!" One man said, "She's so fine!"
"Damn!" Another man said, "Lucas is one lucky Ringmaster!"
"Crikey! I ain't never see a woman this pretty than that Spellisa fellow!" Ghoulexis said,
"And she's Lucas's… Girlfriend?" Aaron wondered,
"She could be, but can we talk about her and Lucas's outfit?!" Travis said, "They do know fashion!"
"Ok, some of them are really gonna be all over that Spellisa girl!" Suzan said, "And you're one of them, Ghoulexis."
Spellisa walked over to Lucas and kissed him on his face. Lucas stands back for his lover to take the spotlight.
"Hello, everyone!" Spellisa shouted, "I am The Magnificent Magician, Spellisa Hyde! I'll be showing you all my finest magic up to date!"
The audience clapped and some of them whistled for finding Spellisa attractive. Lucas looked at one of them with a serious look like he's mad at them. The one audience member chuckled nervously as he gave Lucas the thumbs-up to him. Lucas chuckled too as he went back to clapping for Spellisa.
"Now! In order to show off my amazing magic, I need a volunteer to help me out!" Spellisa said,
"That's right!" Lucas said, "Who's brave enough to help my friendly bunny out?"
The audience was silent. Lucas chuckled again.
"Oh, no worries, Spellisa will pick a volunteer!" He said,
"That's right!" Spellisa said, "Who should it be?"
Spellisa looked at the audience and pointed the spotlight to Aaron. Aaron gasped.
"You!" She shouted, "Yes you!"
Aaron was surprised.
"Wow, Aaron!" Travis said,
"Today is your lucky day, mate!" Ghoulexis said,
"Yeah…" Aaron said as he was a little worried,
"Hey, it's gonna be ok, just stay calm." Travis said,
"Right…"
Aaron took a deep breath as he walked down to the main stage.
"Hi!" Aaron said to Lucas and Spellisa, "Nice to meet you both!"
Aaron and Spellisa had smirks on their faces. The two looked at each other and quietly chatted when they turned around. Aaron waited patiently by whistling.
"Let's be nice to him." Lucas said to Spellisa, "We got the Flower Boy, but we should at least show him some symphony before our real time comes."
"Good idea, Lucas." Spellisa said, "By the way, what kind of animals do you think he likes? Fenris found some pretty rare creatures from Meloland."
"Hmmm… He's a cat person from the looks of it. One of his friends is a Neko."
"I see… Right, I'll give him a two-tailed cat."
"Good one."
Lucas and Spellisa turned back to Aaron.
"Alright, our friend!" Lucas said to Aaron, "You're lucky to be chosen by Spellisa!"
"Yes, yes I am…" Aaron said, nervously,
"Tell me, what's your favorite animal?" Spellisa asked,
"Oh, uhhh, I don't know… I have a lot of favorites."
"Like?"
"Like a cat?"
Lucas and Spellisa's eyebrows were raised. The two looked at each other with smirks. The two then turned back to Aaron.
"Yes! Like a cat!" Spellisa said,
Lucas stood back as Spellisa took off her hat.
"What we're gonna do is something simple!" Spellisa said, "We're gonna make that cat appear out of my hat! …No reference intended."
The audience were paying attention. Aaron was looking at Spellisa's hat.
"Huh, wonder what kind…" Aaron said,
"Oh, ha ha ha! I'm sure it will be cute for you to have in your arms!" Spellisa said, "Now, stand back! I will use my magnificent magic to make it appear, right out of my hat!"
Spellisa uses her magic of some sort to sprinkle it on the inside of her hat. Then, Spellisa created an aura around her hand to put it inside her hat.
"And now, I shall say some magical Votharian words!" She shouted, "And it's not your average magic words like "Abracadabra" or "Hocus Pocus," No no no! Instead, it's gonna be some words I've harnessed!"
Spellisa then said the following:
"Amitoa-Cattamatoa!" She shouted,
The hat then created a magical glowing smoke out of it. Spellisa then holds it next to Aaron.
"Put your hands in it." She said, "Don't be shy, it won't bite."
Aaron took another deep breath as he put his hands in Spellisa's hat and felt something fluffy.
"Oh!" He said,
Aaron had the fluff in his arms and pulled it out of Spellisa's hat. It was a cat with two tails!
"Ta-da!" Spellisa shouted, "There was a two-tailed cat out of my hat! And it's all yours!"
The audience cheered as Aaron was petting the cat.
"Awww, this is nice!" He said, "I appreciate the free pet!'
"Don't forget to keep him healthy!" Spellisa said, "It's a boy by the way."
"I promise I'll take good care of him!"
Aaron headed back to his seat next to his friends. The audience continued to clap while Spellisa bowed.
"Awww, you got a cat!" Travis said,
"I do!" Aaron said, "And I don't know what to name him!"
"Worry about that later!" Suzan said, "We got a show to continue watching!"
Aaron and his friends then continue to watch the rest of the show. A clown and a firebreather came out and performed their tricks. Aaron, his friends and the rest of the audience were impressed and clapped.
