WEEKEND VISITS

My heart aches for belly. To see her smile, hear her laugh. Feel her lips, i long to be in her presence, everything sucks when shes not around. My classes are a lot of work already, i spend most of my time on my studies. I know this will all be worth it in the long run. Its been nearly 2 weeks since ive seen belly. Two weeks too long. I wanted to drive down last weekend, but she wanted to be with taylor, whom she hadent spent much time with. Im going to drive over later tonight once i finish studying.

Its about 8pm when i finish, so i should get to boston around 9pm. Belly has no idea im even coming. I made sure taylor and laurel know. I told them to make sure belly stays home this weekend, and not to make any plans. Taylor said she appreciates the efforts ive made to change. Warned me not to hurt belly again. Laurel said she was on top of it. I get gas and some peonies mixed with daisys, bellys favorite flowers.

I drive the rest of the way, and debate on going to the front door, or throwing rocks at her window. I decide on the front door this time. I fix my hair, before knocking on it.

"belly, door!" i hear laurel call.

"mom youre already downstaires!" i hear belly shout back.

"i think you should get it!"

I hear bellys footsteps and her groaning. When she opens the door im met with her messy black hair. Shes wearing a white sweater with jeans and her red boots"special delivery!" I give her my real smile. The one that shows my teeth, the one thats only reserved for her.

Her eyes go wide"what are you doing here?!" she exclaims with pure happiness.

"I missed you," i tell her soft hugging her. Bellys arms wrap around me, and i feel at ease. When im around belly, all my troubles seem to just disappear. She leads me upstaires to her room.

"i still have flowers from last time! you didnt have to bring more," she laughs.

"Now you have two flowers" i chuckle, sitting on her bed. She sits on my lap, and i hug her tight.

"i missed you so much. Im so lonely here," belly tells me. It must be so hard for her to be alone. A wave of guilt comes washing over me. If i didnt go to school so far away, i could be there for her more.

"I missed you too" i reply, breathing in her scent. I kiss her hair, and close my eyes, still holding her. After a few more minutes belly pulls back, and i kiss her. She stops kissing me after a few seconds.

"Is everything okay?" My tone was one of concern. That kiss ended much sooner that i hoped it would end. I wont tell belly that though. I dont ever want her to feel pressured in any sort of way. Belly is special to me and her feelings matter.

"Yeah, its just um-" she starts nervous.

"you can tell me" i smile, and gently stroke her arm to calm her nerves.

"Im just on my period, so we cant have sex this weekend. Im sorry, please dont be mad" she rushes out and shuts her eyes tightly. I found that adorable.

"Belly, i would never be upset about something like that" i start shaking my head.
"Why dont we cuddle, and watch a movie? Eat some of the candy you have stashed" i offer and she nods. We watch a movie called holidate. Belly falls asleep on me halfway through, so i pull out my phone and go to my messages.

Jeremiah-Hey connie! i hope youre still doing well at brown. Things are going okay here in boston with dad and kayleigh, whose moved in now. Ive been fine with dad dating again but it feels like their relationship is going way too fast. Its really weird having another women living here. I dont like it. Ive been looking at applying to finch for running start so i can get out of here. Anyways talk soon." i reread the one from jeremiah several times.
