𝑡𝑤𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑦-𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑒.

Jeongin and Beomgyu made their way towards the bumper cars holding hands. Niki the hyper kid and Jongho the bored kid were already settled. Sunghoon and Sunoo were also sitting. But Kai was coming behind them. Jeongin casted a worried glance towards Beomgyu which was reflected on the younger's face.

"Don't worry about it just now, In, just relax. Future's gonna be okay." Beomgyu rubbed Jeongin's arm.

"What future?" Jeongin's head hung low. Beomgyu had a very worried expression but he was dragged away by Jongho. During all the times they crashed on to each other, worry never left the back of Beomgyu's mind. He laughed with the others, but kept his gaze on Jeongin's smiling face which hid something deeper.

As soon as Taehyun paid for their tickets for the next game, karaoke, Beomgyu told everyone to start without him and Jeongin and that they were going to the bathroom.

As soon as Beomgyu locked the door, he kept his ears on it, listening intently for any sign of footsteps.
"What are you doing?" Jeongin asked.
"Precautions against Kai Kamal Huening," He said, not taking his ear off. Once he reopened the door to check and locked it again, he leaned against the door and sighed.
They could talk freely now.

"Innie, what's bothering you?" Beomgyu asked Jeongin, getting straight to the point.
"Nothing," Jeongin said monotonously.
"As if I haven't known you since elementary school."
"What do you want me to say?"

"Elaborate what you meant by what future."
Jeongin sighed. Beomgyu will not rest until he solves Jeongin's problem. He was grateful, but still.
"Seungmin is not talking to me and has been ignoring me now. All I did was tell him he did wrong upsetting Felix hyung, and that Jisung hyung should stop being childish."

"The thing you told me that day? Yeah. Seungmin hyung is so much mature and sensible he should know better." Beomgyu said soothingly.

At this, Jeongin really burst into tears. Beomgyu ran to hug him.
"Seungmin hyung is never gonna look at me this way. I'll never be more than a baby to everyone. Nobody talks about me unless I show some skin or do something cute. I hate seeing Seungmin disregard and ignore my existence completely when I couldn't ignore him all my life."

"Innie, you're so much more. I'm sure all of them recognize your worth. Sometimes the people who love you really do love you but don't show it. I annoy the hell out of Yeonjun and he hits me, but whenever one of us gets hurt or something bad happens we're the first to know and be by each others' side. He has always treated me the way he would treat his sibling. He told me once that I was his brother from another parents."

Jeongin looked up at Beomgyu with his eyes full of tears.
"Innie, you're already afraid. Afraid of the defeat even before the battle. Afraid of the consequences even before trying. Afraid of the fall even before flying. You haven't even tried yet and you're already jumping to conclusions. Seungmin isn't an expressive person but I know he loves you more because of the way he acts around you. He's usually mature and conserved but when he teases you and you both fight or call each other names I can see the easy atmosphere and comfort between you two."

Jeongin had stopped crying now. Beomgyu could see that his words worked so he encouraged him more.
"Just try, babe. I know things will turn out your way. I just know. And you know you'll always have me no matter what happens? I'll always be by your side. And I know you'll always be by my side. When our times come and we muster up the strength to confess we know who's gonna be the happiest."

Jeongin smiled and pulled Beomgyu into a hug. Beomgyu hugged back. They both exited the bathroom, back to the karaoke.

"What the hell took you guys so long?" Sunghoon demanded.
"Upset stomach?" Taehyun said, squinting back and forth between the two.
