"Ok, truth or dare?" Elizabetta asks. Everyone looks at me, waiting for my answer.
"Dare!" I say confidently.
It would ruin the game if I had to lie for a truth, so-
"I dare you to ask Soi out on a date!"
...
I can feel my face turn red.
"...Truth."
"You can't back out," Kerori says.
"Yes, accept your fate." Amelie agrees.
"You chose dare, Mimi!"
"Gyo!"
"Anything else! Unrelated to Soi!" I plead.
Elizabetta shakes her head as everyone gets closer to me.
"Come on, phone out!"
"F-Fine," I mutter as I take out my phone. "But this isn't a date! It's a casual get-together between friends!"
"Hurry up already!" Elizabetta exclaims, clearly loving this.
"Ok, ok, it's ringing so quiet!"
"Put it on speaker," Amelie adds, causing me to scream internally as I oblige.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Soi, it's me. Um. So, I've got nothing going on tomorrow, and I was wondering if you were free, so maybe we could hang out together or something."
"..."
"...Hello?"
"Sure. I've gotta go right now, I'll call you back."
"O-Okay, b-"
*beep*
He ended the call...
Meanwhile
All the boys stand for a moment in silence, surrounding Soi's phone. Even Agares, who just woke up a few moments ago, has one eye of his sleep mask raised.
No one wants to break the silence.
Until...
"...So did she-"
"YES, Iruma, she asked Soisoi out on a date!" Lied exclaims, exasperated.
"Is he okay...?" Jazz asks, pointing to Soi, who's blankly staring into the distance. Sabro waves a hand in front of him, but there's no response.
"Welp, Okami officially broke him!" Lied states.
As he continues to stare into the distance, his brain is still processing the last few moments.
And then it clicks.
"Oh, we've got a reaction!" Jazz exclaims as Soi's face turns bright red.
"No. No, it's not a date. It's a casual get-together between two friends. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. The fact that you think it's anything more than that just goes to show how immature you all are-"
"I think it's nice you two are going on a date, Soi!" Iruma says with a smile.
"No, Iruma, you're not getting it, this is not a date."
"Someone's in denial~" Lied teases.
"I think you're forgetting I know your secrets, Lied, so don't even try."
