(A/N: Short chapter, but I have to end this arc somehow)

“Thank you for looking after our students during this incident,” Opera says.

“Oh, no, not at all,” Mephisto replies with a smile, Zebubra slurping down yakisoba behind him. “You have some excellent students. They were a big help.”

“I believe this was quite the stimulating experience for the students as well.”

“Thank you very much!”

“Thanks for the yakisoba.”

“Well then, take care getting home,” Mephisto says.

“Ah-!! ...”

Are they all really that speechless?

It was pretty impressive, but still.

Mephisto notices their expressions, though, and takes out his phone.

“Who wants to trade devi-lines?”

Immediately, everyone crowds around him.

I'll pass on that…

He still seems a little weird to me.

“What a sociable fellow.”

“That damn charmer,” Zebubra grumbles, still eating yakisoba.

I do kind of feel bad for her, though.

Despite her bratty attitude, she did get completely outshined not just today, but at the Deviculum too…

And having a Belzebuth already one of the 13 Crowns must only add onto that.

“Um, Zebubra-san?” I ask, approaching her. “If it's not too much to ask, would you be willing to exchange devi-lines?”

Upon realizing what I've requested, her expression does a complete 180, and she sighs with a big grin on her face.

“Well, I should've expected this. Meeting me like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, y'know? I guess just this once, I'll humor a fan of mine.”

Well, it cheered her up, I guess.

Suddenly, Mephisto puts her under his arm and starts leaving.

“All righty, take care, everyone!”

.

I practically drop myself onto my bed at home.

I did get to relax, but it didn't exactly end up stress-free…

Well, I'm finally back home!

Home, huh?

I look around me. All of my stuff has been transported into Infinite Void, with the only thing left being my bed.

Is this really home to me?

I've only lived here for about a year…

And I have to move, again, for almost the same reason.

It's weird to think that this time tomorrow, there won't be a single trace of my existence left here.

You never know, maybe the next place will be even better…

I close my eyes, smiling.

It was a good run, though.
