Over the past few days, Soi and I have been talking a lot. He's staying true to his word and is pretending that incident never happened, so that's one worry off my mind. What I have been thinking about, though, is Kalego.
He said he's doing home visits, and...
I didn't put down an address in my application! I put some magic in so that no one would notice, but... it's definitely worn off by now!
As I'm leaving class...
"Okami, stay behind. I need to talk to you."
I gulp.
"Sit down."
"What is it, Professor?"
"I checked your files, and there's a surprising amount of info missing, including your address and the names of your legal guardian or guardians."
"..."
"Therefore, I'll just tell you directly."
What? Why?
"Your scores are average, maybe a bit higher, but it's obvious you're holding yourself back for whatever reason. I'm not going to ask why because I'm certain that'll be useless, but this can become a problem in the future. You should work on this, and learn to grow past that."
"...I see. Thank you, Professor. I will be sure to tell my... parents what you've said."
He just stares for a second with one eyebrow raised as if he doesn't believe me at all, then looks away.
"Tch."
