Bonus Chapter One

Eleazar's pov

"As much as I'd love to go see real demigiues instead of those bloody statues I'd have to ask my Mum's permission first..." I scratched the back of my neck, "I just got un-grounded."

"Does this have anything to do with you being basically AWOL and all of Hogwarts collapsing?" Newt asked looked up his little twig beast as it swung from his fingers.

"Oh come on! Not EVERY destruction of Hogwarts property is me!"

"You're right, some of it is your sister," newt teased.

"Fine let's go ask my Mum first." I sighed as I took his shoulder and we both aparated in front of my families home. I could already hear my parents giggling about something inside.

I was very weirded out to walk in and see them both huddled over what looked like a camera. My mum looked up with her cheeks red from laughing.

"Ellie! And Mr Scamander. What are you two up to?" She smiled.

"What are you two doing?" I asked.

"Well your Mum's colleague, Albus, dropped this off for us." My dad explained while trying to set the camera up on a tripod. "We want to get the twins portraits taken but getting it in town is so expensive."

He was acting like they weren't loaded between his salary and where ever Mum get's her money. Teaching at Hogwarts taught well but she did always have more then she let on.

Mum giggled, "we thought we'd take a test shot of ourselves. But I haven't used a camera since..." she glanced at Newt.

Newt smiled, "El tells me everything Professor," he said ratting me out.

"Damn it Eleazar," she mumbled.

"Anne tells Willa everything!"

"Willa frequently goes across time. Newt won't for at least another ten or 15 years, no offense, Newt." My mum sighed. "What are you two up to?" She asked again.

"I wanted to take El with me to find a demiguise."

My mum and Dad both perked up. "Ooo~" my Mum awed, "statue or real?"

"Real, Professor."

"Your Mum and Aunt tried to find one our 5th year." Dad reminisced.

"I wanted to find one for the care taker at the time. I thought he was crazy,"

"He was crazy," my Dad confirmed.

"Can I go?" I asked.

My parents glanced at each other, "you would have to be careful...I thought we all as a family agreed to take it easy for a while..." Mother reminded me.

"But school will be back in a week. I want to do one more fun thing before my 7th year."

My Mum sighed as my dad glanced at her as if telling her she had the final say. "Where is it?" She asked Newt.

"London, hopefully."

"Okay... you can go," newt and I started to get excited but she kept talking. "You absolutely can Not leave the the British Isle's, no France, German, or anywhere in the rest of the world. And you can't Keep the demiguise. They are endangered as it is. They stay where they are for a reason. Got it?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am!" Both of us smiled.

My dad clapped his hands together, "right off you two go then before she changes her mind," he teased as her face did read like she was regretting letting us go.
