Obi-Wan offered his hand, and she took it as he led her to the center of the room where everyone was dancing. Her hand rested in his, and she placed her other hand on his shoulder. He couldn't take his eyes off her, capturing every detail.

"I don't know anything about you," Obi-Wan says, looking into her eyes.

"What do you mean?" she asks.

"You know everything about me, you never told me anything about yourself except that you're a spice dealer."

She lets out a nervous laugh. "Well, what do you wanna know?"

"I don't know, your home planet, your life, just give me anything."

She smiles and looks up as if she's trying to recall something, "My home planet is Naboo."

Obi-Wan raises his eyebrows, waiting for her to say something else, "And?"

"And what?"

"Oh, why do I have to push you? Okay, um, tell me about your parents."

Her smile faded away a bit, and she dropped the eye contact; her gaze trailed away. "I don't really remember. What about yours?"

"I don't remember mine either, but that was because I was going to become a Jedi. Why don't you remember yours?"

"I don't know." Obi-Wan decided to stop asking her more questions; she clearly didn't want to tell him some things, and he respected that.

"You're a pretty good dancer, you know. Do they teach you that in Jedi school?" Alex teased.

Obi-Wan rolled his eyes, "You don't believe in this, do you?"

"Believe in what? Oh, the Force?" She let out a rather loud laugh, but not too loud to raise attention. "I mean, it's tricky. I've seen the Force, you know, with Jedi and stuff, but I don't know. I'm not sure about it."

Obi-Wan looked at her confused, "What's there to be sure about?"

"Oh, Obi-Wan, I don't know. I don't think about the Force that much."

There was silence for a few moments. She still had a problem looking at him; she kept looking down. But he wouldn't take his gaze off of her for a second.

"Alex,"

"Hm?"

"Stay here?"

"Where? On Coruscant?"

"Yes, stay here on Coruscant," Alex heard this, rolled her eyes, and opened her mouth to say something, but Obi-Wan didn't let her, "Stay here, fight with us."

"Fight with what? The Republic? I don't wanna be a part of the war, Obi-Wan. I have no business in it."

"Oh, come on, stay here. We need someone like you. What do you even have back home?"

She looked at him sharply, "I have my life, Obi-Wan, just like you do here."

"I think..." he trailed off.

"What?"

"I think we need you, I may need you."

She let out a giggle, "Oh, what, the Force tells you that?"

He looked at her sternly, "Yes, as a matter of fact."

All of a sudden, Obi-Wan's face scrunched up, and Alex looked at him, "Are you alright?"

He didn't reply; he let go of her and ran to Anakin, who was just coming towards him, "I felt it too, let's go!"
