"But how do they even know we're on this ship?" Ahsoka says.

"Uh, hey, care to explain?" Alex shouts over the noise.

"No time!" Obi-Wan says while running out of the cockpit.

"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO, SHOULD WE RUN?" Alex shouts.

"No, we have to stay and fight, or else they'll tear the ship apart before we even leave the planet," Obi-Wan replies.

"OBI-WAN, IF THEY HURT CANARY, YOU'LL BE THE ONE TO PAY!" Alex screams.

All of them exit the ship, quickly taking cover where they can. To their luck, the army of Separatists attacking them is barely an army, and it wouldn't even require four people to deal with them. Anakin and Ahsoka go ahead, destroying the droids one spin of their lightsabers at a time.

Alex stays hidden behind a rock. She's anxious, having never fought a droid army before, only dealing with amateur smugglers. She has her gun in her hand and is almost trembling, the color draining from her face. She peeks up from behind the rock a bit and sees Obi-Wan struggling with a droid. She shuts her eyes tightly for a second, then gets up and shoots the droid. Obi-Wan looks behind to see where the shot came from, and he sees Alex. He smiles at her. Alex, though still horrified, feels proud and gives a half-smile back.

She continues shooting droids, and eventually, they are defeated. "Let's go before they send more!" Obi-Wan shouts.

They rushed back into the ship. Alex sat down, breathing heavily. Obi-Wan entered, and she looked up at him, getting up. She pushed him against the wall. "What the hell did you get me into, Jedi!" Their faces were centimeters apart, which doesn't really occur to a freaked-out Alex but does to Obi-Wan. He stares for a moment at her lips before remembering that he has to say something.

"Uh, what? Oh," he stuttered. "Don't worry, Alex, you're not going to be a part of this."

"Uh, i'm actually, she is now." Obi-Wan and Alex both turned to look at Anakin, who was leaning at the door to the cockpit.

Her eyes widen. "What?" she asked.

"You just helped kill a bunch of droids; you're involved now," Anakin said.

Alex looked at him in anger and disbelief. She let go of Obi-Wan and fell into her seat.

"Anakin, can you fly this ship? I need a moment to completely freak out," she said with her head in her hands.

"Sure, take your time," Anakin replied in a snarky tone.

Obi-Wan looked at Alex with worry.
